We really enjoyed our round, the hills are quite a challenge and narrow fairways made straight shots a necessity! Will definitely play again if the price is right.

This was a long course with sand traps with hard packed dirt, and high sides. We found a number of them. The front nine was having work done but Golf Now made no mention of this so we fought our way through big patches of sod and bare spots, tractors and hose lines. It is a nice course, but it wasn't ready for play.

Well kept golf course, wide fairways, very few sand traps, and level greens. Good practice for your short game. No tricky or interesting holes, though.

These short holes really give you a work out, since being accurate is so important. Nice course, well laid out and fun to play.

Being a par 72, it's longer than we usually play, so it was great practice for our woods and irons. We enjoyed the course and will be back!

I haven't played Desert Sands in at least a year and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is in great shape. We moved along nicely and with wide open fairways and no sand traps, it's all about how long you can hit the ball. The greens were the challenge, every one on a hill or with a tricky rise in the middle. We really enjoyed the round and will be back.

Wide fairways and some long holes give us plenty of practice on the long shots. A couple of holes where loft is the only way to cross a rocky gully, makes it interesting. We like this course, for a nine hole it has some challenges and you can usually play with just your group, not being combined with someone else.

The weather was perfect, the course was in good shape but the pace was very slow. We waited on every tee and had people try to play through only to slow it down even further. It makes for a really long day and throws off your rhythm. I would recommend this course but wait till the summer to play it.

It's a great way to practice your short game, but really a challange for me as chipping is the worst part of my game.
They are always friendly and welcoming, the course is in good condition and we can play in 3 1/2 to 4 hours. I love it.

The Bear Cub is a fun little golf course but I and my friends feel it is over priced compared to other courses that are a little longer, therefore a little more challanging. It's a municiple golf course so one would think it would be reasonably priced.

We really enjoyed the long holes, really got to practice our long shots. A really nice course but quite a drive from Mesa. I also didn't realize how long of a walk it would be, it took us the better part of 5 hours to walk 18.

This is one of my favorite courses, they keep it nice and green, the greens are like carpet, it's just a joy to play on.

Keep it straight or you'll take out a window, as the houses are very close to the fairways. It's a great course, well maintained and interesting.

We always enjoy playing at Springfield, it has enough challange to keep you interested and but isn't too difficult either.

We really enjoy this course, wide fairways really help and though it has 4 par 5s, it doesn't feel too long. It's a beautiful setting and the holes are interesting, not just slugging along on a straight-a-way.
