Empire Lakes Golf Course
Played On 06/28/2015cool hidden course
This was a very nice course hidden in an unexpected area of town. This was my first time here and over all it's a great course. The pros, great over all course condition, staff and golfers were all very nice, lots of challenges on every hole for every level player. The cons, kind of pricy, the pace of play was a lil slow, some of the tee boxes were unlevel and needed some work, practice greens were very rough, no beverage cart and I didn't know that I could call for a delivery of food or drinks by using call boxes until I read other review. I will make my way back to challenge my game at this course again but not without golf now.
Fullerton Golf Course
Played On 04/25/2015unorganized
Showed up 90 minutes before my tee time, I finally went out 60 minutes after my tee time was booked for. The poor woman in the pro shop was the acting cashier, starter, and was answering the phone and booking tee times. The line to check in was out the door and the manager was walking around and not assisting his poor employee at all and an empty register just collecting dust. The course it's self was ok, fairways could use a lil work and some of the tee boxes could use some work. Nice lil course for players of all levels.
Shandin Hills Golf Club

I have played here a few times and the condition of the course changes constantly. The greens were recently reconditioned cause they were all full of sand, the fairway were in good condition this time, would have been nice to have been told this before going out.The pace of play is almost always SLOW, I'm not sure why the slower golfers don't seem to understand how slow they are or don't care here. I continue to return every so often thinking that one day it will all fall in line, silly me.
WildHorse Golf Club
Played On 04/10/2015nice lil out of the way place
You drive to a nice residential area and the course is tucked in nicely. The fairways were nicely manicured but the greens could use a little work. The course poses a great challenge for players of all caliber and handicap. I will return to play here again when I come to visit next time.
Gleneagles Golf Course at McLaren Park
Played On 02/13/2015nice lil hide away
Fairways were mushy and kind of beat up, but greens were very nice. Tricky lil locals 9 hole coarse, don't think I'd be in any hurry to return though.

I was looking for a new course to play and found this place not to far from home. The tee boxes are under repair so some of them were a little rough. Most of the fairways were in good condition but there were a few that had lots of holes that balls settle into, had some issues with over watering in spots. Greens were in great condition and not easy to read, good challenge. I was kind of disappointed that the bunkers are being changed into grass hazards. Lots of elevation changes for tee boxes to greens. This is not a walking course in my opinion. All around nice place and I can't wait to go back.
San Bernardino Golf Club
Played On 7/17/2013Nice change of pace
I have played this course a few times but I enjoy taking friends there for a change of pace. We all enjoy trying out a new course now and then. The staff and course are almost alway the same, nice and in good shape for the price and location.
Bay View Golf Course
Played On 6/17/2013Not your normal executive or pitch and putt course!!!
The staff is super nice and willing to go the extra mile to make your outting very special. Played with a buddy and a local that gave us lots of pointers on the best areas to play from on the course, thanks Leo. I guess the course was purchased not to long ago and the new owners hired a real pro to assist them in up grading and maintaining the course. This course has great views and great green fees for Hawaii. The only negative for me was that this course has lights and used to play at night which is does not any longer.... Also they need a pro shop, best way to advertise is to have things to remind mainland players of the courses that they played while visiting (hats, ball markers, towels, tee-shirts,etc.)
Ashwood Golf Club - Mesquite/Sycamore Course
Played On 6/6/2013Great little executive course
The tee boxes, fairways and greens are in good condition, well maintained course, I just wish that the grounds crew would not water in the middle of the afternoon when it's over 100* this just increases the humidity. The only negative is the goose droppings on some of the greens, kind of a turn off.
Green Tree Golf Course
Played On 5/20/2013Nice for a city course
I have not played here in a while, the grounds crew has done a good job with the greens and fairways however there are still a few rough spot in the middle of some great fairways. I just wish the other golfers would help take care of the greens, if you play after 8 you can expect to have tons of unrepaired ball marks on the greens.
Hesperia Golf & Country Club
Played On 04/08/2013Nice for a change
Has lots of changes hole by hole, nothings the same. Lots of different looks and you get to use lots of the clubs in your bag. Greens are a challenge, not a whole lot of flat straight putts.
Colton Golf Club
Played On 3/23/2013I think Charley Brown said it best...."Awwwww"
Heard from a couple guys that they play here to get in some practice when they don't have the time to play at a full length course but they forgot to tell me not to expect much. I went for a quick outting with my son and well there was nothing quick about it. We had a 8:40 tee time and at arrival were told that their men's club had more players than they had booked prior so we finally teed off at 9:05. They had groups of 5 & 6 going out together in theirs a mens club. The starter told a couple groups and myself that we could not go out the back side, which was wide open. As we sat patiently waiting in position to tee off there was a foursome that came walking by and said the starter told them it was ok to go out the back because they were so backed up; I guess because we are not buddy buddy with the starter we don't get the same courtesy as others. Fairways are weeds with divots as far as the eye can see and no repair, no sand on carts to assist the grounds crew either. Greens and tee boxes are lined next to each other which is ok but the protective netting needs to be repaired, almost got hit on 3 different holes. Greens were the best thing on the course but were all flat and easy to read. Well I guess what I'm saying is keep your cash.....
Apple Valley Golf Course
Played On 3/14/2013Quiet course with a great pace
Staff was very nice and greens were in very good shape.
We call it the speakeasy of golf courses, if you can find it, you can play.
