Grass is different down here, little more gnarly than up north. Front nine was an adjustment period, played much better on the back. Nice course, great staff, played 18 in 3 hours very enjoyable.

Great course for our group, 4 some that live south, north and west, it’s right in the middle. Nice course, fair but challenging, number 2, 9, and 18 will test your mettle. Great after round options for food and drinks.

Haven’t been to White Pines in a while and decided to give it a go. Pleasantly surprised, it was in great shape, better than I remember and challenging enough for our group.. will probably be back sooner than later.

Wheaton Park District does a great job here. Wonderful clubhouse, friendly staff, great food and drinks.. Oh and 3 nine hole courses that are in impeccable shape. It did rain hard the day before we played so it was cart path only on the carts, there were a couple of wet areas so I guess better safe than sorry but 90* probably would have been fine too. On the bright side I got my steps in for the day and won a free lunch. We'll be back.

Well worth the drive to this gem 1/2 way between Chicago and Rockford. Took me 1:25 minutes from south Naperville but I enjoyed the whole experience. Fairway's are relatively wide, greens receptive of a well struck shot. Greens are mostly elevated, and most have a lot of undulations. Fast true greens, all around great course if just a bit off the beaten path

Bowes Creek is a nice course but its sister course The Highlands is much nicer for the money. Front nine is ho-hum, back more scenic and requires more accurate shots. The member for a day is a nice concept but for what they charge they should have Rangers on the course. A twosome held up our threesome all day and the foresome in front of them was never seen after the 3rd hole. While our round only took 4 1/2 hours we could have played in 4 easily with a ranger moving play along.

Haven't played here in about 5 years, I forgot how nice a track this is, front a little more forgiving, back is pretty tight and calls for more accuracy off the tee. This course could make it into our regular rotation again.

Course was in great shape, greens rolling well, only problem was nobody fixes ball marks out there. I fixed 4+ on every green, otherwise course condition would have gotten a 5*

Course was in good shape except for the greens, some had a disease others were just bumpy..played there before and course was in much better shape, will take this course off our regular rotation for a month or so and check again.

Played 18 holes in 2 1/2 hours, great staff and pace of play. Greens rolled really true. Recommend.!!

Nice track, much of course is elevated so when the wind blows it can be tough. But nice layout and generous landing areas

Went to GN to find a golf course while visiting my son at school. Found Talamore, great experience.! Gene the guy in the pro shop was great, course was in good shape for January, I work at a golf course in Illinois so I know how tough winter can be on a golf course. My experience was so good that I played it again 2 days later. Staff is excellent.!!
