Nice track and despite the greens being super slow due to recovery from recent top dressing, they were in great shape and very consistent. If there was any reason to not go back it would be Bill, the crusty starter. Not a pleasant man. Might be time for him to do something that doesn’t include contact with the public. The rest of the staff was super.

Saw one chimney and one deer, course is scenic and varied on would recommend this course to anyone.

First time on this course, nice variety of holes, beautiful. Great shape, couple greens with some issues near the perimeter but not an issue.

Like a salad this course has mixed greens. Greens were in good shape but speed was inconsistent which made putting very challenging. Love the layout. Very picturesque.

Bob, his wife and staff are really great people, greens were good but a bit fuzzy and slow on this day. Tee boxes were really bad. Biggest issue was pace of play, 5 hour rounds are not fun.

enjoyed the course, nice variety in hole layout. Greens were great but I found them very difficult to read. Would need to play it a few more times to learn some of the nuances of the greens and some of the blind shot targets.

I read a review that said the greens did not have a single pitch mark. Now I understand why. I hit my short irons pretty high and only made a pitch mark in one green because they are so hard. Many are severely sloped and had pin placements that were impossible and a good approach would just keep rolling. This s a scenic course and would be great to play after about 20 times so one could get to know the greens but a major mess for a first timer.

This Tee Time should never have been sold. The course had a large tournament with a 1:00 shotgun start. We were only able to play 15 holes and that basically hurrying through 14 and 15. My confirmation said the tee time was sold by Golf Now, not Green Valley. This sort of thing should NEVER happen. Very disappointing. Loved the course layout though despite the fairways being in rough shape. Also, make sure you stock up on fluids as there is no drinking water available on the course and you don't come back to the club house after 9.

We had a great day. Staff was all you could expect . Greens were perfect, though lightening fast with few straight putts. Fairways not in the best shape but not bad enough to take away from the round. That could be because we spent such little time there. Would definitely play again.

Good greens, rough short and easy, fairways good enough, not as well manicured as in its heyday but still an enjoyable round.

The greens rolled true, best condition I have seen there though a bit tricky as some of the slopes are optical illusions. The staff was friendly and helpful as always. The type of mats used at the driving range are the best kind to use if you have to have mats since you can stick a tee in them. They are not too hard either so hitting an iron directly from the mat is just like a tight lie in a fairway.

Great value. Nice variety on the holes with a picture postcard scenic view from just about everywhere. Greens had a few rough spots but that is to be expected in the transition from Bermuda season to Rye season. Course was in excellent shape overall. If it was not 90 minutes from home, I would play it regularly.
