Course was in pretty good shape considering the recent overseeding which is common this time of year. My playing partner, who is a local, bragged a lot before our round about the quality of the greens. However, they ended up being recently sanded which was not advertised at the time of booking. The course had a few yardage markers buried in the fairways but you really had to search for them and since I did not have my golf GPS watch with me, it was difficult to gain any idea of distance on most holes. Maybe some distance markers along the cart paths would help. Overall, I enjoyed the round and would play again in the future..

Plays like a park style course although surrounded by homes. However, there's still plenty of room for some off target shots without flying the ball into back yards. Hawk requires a bit more course management for long hitters but King will better accommodate them. Good pace of play and staff. I will be back.
