Tempest Golf Club

Tempest is one of the finer course offerings in the area. The track is hard. My only concern is the houses that are being built around the course soon will be in danger of errant tee shots. I hate that. But the course is impossible to walk, a great challenge, and in good shape even with the harsh hot weather. A joy to play...when it is cooler.

Crazy staff to assist Mr in finding a good option.

This course may be fine. The one staffer there was great. But it was closed so I lost my green fee because of Golf Now.

I again enjoyed a relaxed round at this course...new to me but it has great potential. Many good shots on fairway or green could be on dirt, sand, or just minimal grass. The winter took its toll...but the recent rains helped I am sure. Much better shape.

The greens very fast the course in good shape. There was a constant play but social distance was great. Super course and wonderful wildlife to enjoy.

Mount Dora Golf Club

I did not know what to expect at Mt. Dora's golf club but was pleasantly surprised by the relaxed manner of both golfers and employees. The course was narrow and short. The ground bumpy and not smooth but the grass, greens, and tees boxes were acceptable. Greens were especially fair...
I would return again, the wind was a small factor and the design of the many raised greens and protective areas around there were a new challenge.

A great course to enjoy and great great golf with challenging and fair layout. Fast greens was nice. Sad the condiments were unavailable because of pandemic. Will return.

Great place to play, fair course. Staff not thrilled to see you, not real helpful. Great driving range.

Enjoyed a good round even dodging rain.
Rough was not cut so it added to difficult recoveries and unnecessary lost balls.

Once again Dubsdread provided a good outing, the staff, course, driving rang, and starter were all accomodating. I enjoy this course and the people you meet on it.

It was a nice experience and I enjoyed the course layout. The greens were tough, the staff helpful, and the day was great...then the lightning came and I was off after nine. But the rain check is fair. I will be back.
It could use some trees for shade here and there.
