I played twice during this week at this course. First time. Very good value for the money. very friendly staff, and course upkeep is good as evidenced by the presence of the ground staffs and watering during the day. Greens are in very good shape for this time of year.

There were some groups jumping back and forth to the back and front of my group during both days. I was a bit annoyed at the lack of etiquette , but they did not cause an issue with pace of play, so my annoyance quickly faded.

Definitely will play here again.

Course is short and narrow . A couple of spectacular par 3 holes, but overall conditions of the greens were poor. Fairways were good shape. Not bad for the money, but for this time of year there are many nice courses that are in much better conditions for about same amount of money.

Overall one of the best course I ever played. The gold tee maybe a bit long for me at close to 7000 ft, but this is an awesome course and a challenge at any tee length. The course is more wide open than it looks from the tee or fairway, but scoring is all about executing approach shots to the greens. The difference between a good shot and a bad shots to the greens could be par or triple bogeys, so total focus is required for the approach shots. The greens are good overall considering the hot weather, but I can see that in cool weather months, the greens would be much better and much faster.

Beautiful and outstanding course layout. Only blemishes are bare and rough spots on some greens, but they are probably being worked on this time of year. Can't really complaint because of the low green fees this time of year and as compared to other courses. A challenging course but but fair.

Green side bunkers are hard with little sand, so the ball goes 2-3X farther on a normal sand shot. Should take some practice in the bunkers before the round if play there 1st time.

I played Talking Sticks a few times and always enjoyed golfing there. Fairways are wide open but not that easy, and the wonderful and plentiful wild life always relaxed me. The staffs are very friendly and the place seems very well run.

I played this course more than any others in the PHX. Overall probably the best deal in terms of price vs quality. Course is always in good shape. Staffs and service are always good and friendly. Course is not easy but fair and doesn't tend to ruin your day.
