A great course layout in a beautiful setting

This is a very nice course. The topography is remarkable in that every hole has it's own personality. And quite challenging. You will get to use most of the clubs in your bag.

The course was in excellent shape. The staff was very helpful as well. Then there are the views. It's not often I say "wow", but I did several times before teeing off.

All in all, this one is up there with the best in the valley.

Beautiful course

The good:
-second day out of over seeding and this course was amazing
-very well laid out course
-ice and bottled water every other hole it seemed
-variety of holes was great
-mountain views were amazing
-great clubhouse/restaurant

The not so good:
-cart path only and we walked more than I do when I walk a course
-driving range was closed
Some holes, there seemed to be 2 possible greens to shoot for
-and of course, it's a bit of a drive
Otherwise, great time!

Good course for the most part.

We enjoyed our round despite the heat. (The last few holes, it was getting hot.) There was plenty of water on the course which was necessary because there was no cart refreshments available.

I liked the variety. I like wondering what the next hole is like and wasn't disappointed. Meandering through the neighborhood was interesting.

The houses are quite close here but workable.

Course in good shape for this time of year.

Nice course, nicer price...

This is a very nice course. It has enough difficulty to challenge most golfers. They have tried hard to introduce some novelty so it isn't the usual boring down and back. And still be affordable. That's what makes it a good one.

The first tee box was quite lush, almost green-like. This, despite our ongoing drought. The rest of the tees were almost as nice. Fairways look good for the end of the summer.

The clubhouse/restaurant was quite nice also, with great prices.

All in all, this is a relatively new course and was planned out well.

Good experience.

A decent 18 holes of golf...

My notes:
Five sets of tees.
Water comes into play on a few.
One hole should have had water to hit over but was drained and looked like the surface of the moon (if the moon had thousands of lost golf balls).
Mosquitos- make sure to bring spray.
Lots of mature trees to navigate through
Cart gal was nice enough to give us some bug spray
Long, straight fairways
There was one green that had rolls of sod on it for repairs being done, but luckily didn't interfere with our play.
All in all, a good course for the money.

Fun course for a quick outing.

Nice soft greens on this executive course. It really was in good shape overall. The pace of play was excellent as well.

The only drawbacks were the many short holes (but you expect that on these courses) and the course is tightly surrounded by condo/apartments which is fine except there were too many people not golfing but on or near the fairways.

Otherwise, it was enjoyable.

A basic fun course...

Well it was Mother's Day and it was hot but it was still fun. The cost was right and we had the place to ourselves for the most part.

The course is rather flat and straight, but does the trick for a quick round. This is a basic layout but understandable given the age of the surrounding area.

Good place for my "first time golfing daughter".

You really should play this one at least once...

While playing this course, you may be tricked into thinking you are no longer in the Phoenix desert. There is lotsa water. Which is a nice change if you play in the Valley mostly.

The greens were nice and soft, the fairways green and well cared for. This just is a nice looking course.

There was a tournament going on while we played but the players were not a problem. However, there were way too many mowers and groundskeepers on the course and yes, it did interfere with our play. (My drive landed in a maintenance cart.)

Otherwise, a good day.

There's a reason this course hosts a PGA tournament.

Yes, this was the nicest course I have ever played. Yes, conditions were near perfect. And yes, I could never afford to play here without a great Golfnow deal. Thank you.

But it was loads of fun.

It's a bit out of the way, but very nice course...

This course is out in the "boonies" but is maintained very well. It was difficult to finish 18 when starting at 2:44 pm but we got in 15. We were impressed by the green-ness of all fairways. This is indeed a nice course.

This is a great course for any skill level.

The cub is much harder than it looks. That is a good thing. Always in great condition. Speed of play is excellent.

For the money, it really is hard to beat.

For the money, it's fine...

Given that we paid little to play, we got our money's worth. There were too many greens with duck poo. It actually affected some putts. The fairways were dry and crusty. Teeboxes not much more than sand at times.

But all in all, it was a fun day.

Excellent conditions, fun course

The whole course is wonderfully green. It has an interesting design that makes use of all their acres.

We thoroughly enjoyed our round and the only negative was the slow play. There were simply too many golfers on the course at one time.

I still will go back, however.

Decent course for the money

The price was right. But the tee boxes were awful. Greens a bit spotty but playable. I was told this course can play unbearably slow but not the day I was there.

Overall, good value and decent course.

Nice course, nice condition

I can't complain about anything here. Fairways are all in good shape. Greens are a bit hard, but that is to be expected this time of year. Overall, a fun course.
