This is a great resort or member friendly course with each hole laid out in front and no gimmicks. There are wide landing areas off the tee and large greens that accept the ball reasonably. Green speeds are up there but not stupid. They are consistent throughout the course. The course has been over seeded and is a lush green with no bare areas. Get there early as the range balls are included in your green fee and they have an excellent chipping green as well as putting surface. This course will eventually go private so playing it soon is recommended. This was my first time playing here on my annual trip from Canada, it won’t be my last.

Played The Preserve for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The layout has quite a few doglegs with boardering water. It requires accurate driving to position well for ideal approaches. The greens speed was consistent and fairly quick. There is some varied grass types in the greens but didn’t impact play. Bunkers were well maintained and some waste areas are sea shell based. The cart paths are sand based and well groomed. The range is targets in a lake with decent hitting surface area. Staff were friendly and provided additional guidance for us as first timers there. The starter put extra effort to pair my wife and I with a compatible single. Pace of play was very good at 4 hours with our 11:00am tee time. The clubhouse is nice with a new looking lounge area. The pro shop offered some very good pricing on merchandise, especially their deal on Titleist hats. I would play the course again and recommend it to friends.

Played Rosedale for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The course was in great shape with well grassed fairways and rough, not bare patches some courses have this time of year. The greens were quick and consistent but held the approaches well. I will say, this is a tight course that demands accuracy off the tee.

The staff were very friendly at the bag drop, pro shop as well as the head pro who made the effort to say hello and welcome us as we practiced on the putting green.

I will play here again.

Played both courses at LPGA International now and they both differ a great deal. The Jones course more open and wind exposed with water and sand to navigate. The Hills course, I just played, is through the woods and demands more accuracy off the tee. The course was in fine shape and a good layout. The greens weren't accepting the ball real well so allowances were required to not hit through them.

The practice facilities are top notch as well and one will usually see some of the local college players practicing and playing there.

If you're looking for a golf experience like none other, this side of the ocean, then this may be the course for you. Nicklaus designed this course with the famed Scottish Old Course in mind and he did a wonderful job. Double greens, little rough, berms, massive fairways and of course devilish pot bunkers!
Truly a different experience with conditions that are second to none as well.
Played this course in 1990 and again this month and it isn't showing any wear and tear at all, great job by the greens keeper and crew.
