Winter Pines Golf Club
Played On 05/02/2023New owners, nice job
I've been playing here since 2012-2013. The course has never looked better. I only played the back nine on this particular evening; it was worlds different than playing here last summer. Some of the tee boxes could use a little tidying up, but the fairways and greens were fantastic. If you've not been here in a while, you need to circle back. $20 for 9 holes seems pricey for ol' Winter Pines, but it was well worth it.
Fairways Country Club

While many of the fairways left much to be desired, several were in good shape. Most tee boxes were well-maintained, and the greens were in better shape than some of the $50-75 courses around Orlando right now. That part blew my mind. We chose this course for a couples' round with a 2 year old in tow (low price, laid back, they didn't mind the child tagging along). We were not disappointed.

Aside from evidence of recent aeration on a few greens, the course is in great shape. Driving range was closed because they were working on the sprinkler system or something, so maybe call ahead if you're planning to arrive early to hit some range balls.

Greens are back in great shape. Course was in great condition after a couple days w/o rain
Casselberry Golf Club

Lots of rain in the area the past couple weeks has turned it into one big mud pit. There’s a note about aerated greens, but you basically need your a fairway wood if you’re putting outside of 10ish feet on any given green.. Oh, and our golf cart barely moved. No kidding, every hill or wet spot,we either had to Fred Flinstone it with each of us having one foot pushing outside the cart, or one of us getting out of the cart altogether. Go play Deer Run, it’s right around the corner.
Grande Vista Golf Club

Nice course, all 3s and 4s. Very short, water hazard on every hole except #1. It’s like a nicer version of Winter Park Pines. I got a $10 hot buy which made it extra worth it. I will be back again and again
