We played Lone Tree at noon on Monday and the course and more particularly the greens were
in good condition, mowed and rolled.
We played as a foursome and finished in about 4 hours.
Staff were helpful and cooperative.

Greens are the new Bermuda, which are brown in the winter
and green the rest of the year, they were fast and true and
in good order.
I would recommend this course to a friend.

The weather was over 100 degrees, greens were in good condition, fairways are typical California with
some thin spots.
The course is surrounded by residential housing,
and has water on several holes.
Overall a good pace and good value.

We played Lone Tree in Antioch (again) and found
it fun.
They had hoped to get the greens redone by today
but that is pushed until August 1 thru the 15th.
As such, there remains 14 temporary greens with
the big bucket holes, which are fun but not post-able.
The rest of the course is in average/good condition with some bare spots in the fairways.

we played the Cache Creek course at 10:00 as a twosome and finished in about 4 hours.
The course is in excellent shape, greens were mowed and rolled.
Good views of the surrounding Capay Valley, lots of
sand traps, links style course.
Well worth the drive. Add this one to your bucket
list.

Weather was warm, slight breeze, conditions were good except there are currently 14 temporary greens and they are using the large bucket holes.
It was fun, because all the "holes" were reachable and I made 14 1-hole puts, but couldn't post the score as it was not a standard course.
Fun for a change but like playing miniature golf on
a large basis.

We played Franklin Canyon off Highway 4 in Hercules at
noon as a twosome and finished in about 4 hours.
The course is a mixture of level and hillside surfaces with views of surrounding hillside, some water and some mature trees.
The greens were in good condition, fairways were green with some bare spots, but generally good.
Sandtraps are being worked on as we played.
Overall, a good value.

The course is surrounded by open hillside and single family homes.
Almost more links style which lots of traps and a few
trees.
Great course for all levels of play, the tips are
challenging.

The main greens are currently being sprayed and they
have 14 temporary greens with an eight inch hole.
Makes for a fun experience but not something you
play as regulation or want to get used to.

10:00 am and finished in about 5.5 hours.
Pace was slow due to a tournament which we
found out upon registering.
The course was in average/good condition, greens were mowed and fast, a combination of hillside fairways were hilly and some level.
Lots of trees, good views.

greens play faster.
There is a combination of raised greens and level
greens, lots of trees, good views of surrounding hills.

The greens were mowed, the fairways in good condition, with a mixture of level surfaces, trees,

Good views of surrounding hills, lots of birds and some wildlife.
The course is a mixture of some level fairways and some hillside, greens were mowed and in good condition, fairways typical California.
Overall an interesting combination of trees , sand traps and rough.
High handicappers, bring some extra balls.
Overall a great course and priced reasonably.

We played Blue Rock East at 10:00 am and finished in 5.5 hours. We waited on every tee box and every fairway. I took my wife and son.
We also experienced a very ill mannered overweight jerk who described himself as a course custodian, very loud and rude, indicating that being on the fairway on one hole was a violation of signage.
Between the slow pace and the course jerk, we
as a family are done.
Won't go back, and I promise to tell every golfer
I know of this experience.

as a foursome and finished in about 4 hours.
The course has a combination of local houses and greenbelt surrounding it.
The fairways were a little spotty, typical California, greens were mowed and rolled.
Overall, a good course, trees and sandtraps, and water makes it a little challenging.

The replaced greens are turning green from the
winter brown.
Views of surrounding hillside and pasture land,
some raised greens and hillside fairways make this
interesting.

We played Mare Island in Vallejo, and tried again as
we experienced slow play last month.
We played as a twosome at 11:30 and once again
ran into several foursomes playing at about a
5 to 6 hour pace.
We left again and did not finish.
Won't be back for a while.

Bermuda grass and are currently dormant (brown).
Elevated greens, mature trees, adequate sand traps
make the course challenging but doable.
On line players, don't show up early, they will not
let you out.
