The 500 Club
Played On 10/15/2018Too Much House Construction on Back Side
The tee boxes are great, greens are great, fairways are great. The only issue now is on the back side where they are building homes almost right on the course. There are giant mud hills that are being graded for homes. Hole 10 is still shortened to a par 3, supposed to play as a par 4. Hole 11 is shortened to a 300 yard par 4, originally played as a par 5. With where they are building houses on hole 11 I am not sure if they can ever turn it back into a par 5 because balls would be driven right into those houses playing as a par 5. Hole 16 which is a beautiful hole now has a hug mud hill next to it where they are putting a home right next to it. Don't get me wrong I like playing the course but it is just ashamed to see all the mess on the back side next to the holes and fairways.

Played On 08/04/2018Beautiful Course But Has Some Issues Right Now
First off the course is pretty and the layout is nice. They have some dead spots on their greens and some areas in the rough that have dead or no grass. We have also had lots of rain over the last week and all of the bunkers were washed out. Plus the sand in many of the bunkers is strange and more like dirt. The $69 price on the weekend is nowhere near worth that price. If you can get a round for around 45 bucks during the week or better yet on the weekend, then go for it. But this course is not a course that is worth $69. One other issue the course is having right now is that several of the tee boxes are dead as well. For the most part the greens are in good shape, but some of them do have dead spots on them as well.

Overall the course is nice and in good shape except the number 12 green, it has dead spots all over it. Some of the tee boxes are kind of bad right now as well but I know they are working on them. The manager of the course though needs to pay better attention to details. Addressing these issues would cost hardly nothing as well. What I mean is a majority of the ball washers are bone dry. Pretty cheap to add water to them and put a drop of dish soap in each one. The spouts on the water coolers around the course are filthy, doesn't cost a thing to clean those out, just some elbow grease.

Played On 09/24/2017Layout is Awesome
The layout of this course is awesome, the greens and fairways are in excellent shape. Once they get hole 10 and the rest of hole 11 open other courses better lookout. The only complaint I have is that the Bermuda rough was so deep that if you hit a ball in it forget it. They really need to cut that rough down some. I had played this course many years ago when it was Fox Den. I didn't remember the layout being so cool though. This is one of my favorite layouts of courses in the area minus hole 10 and half of hole 11 being closed. Hopefully they will get those holes open ASAP. I can't wait to play it again when they have that sorted out. Another important thing to me is how many water bottles are on the course. They have one about every three holes so that to me was fantastic. Staff is great and friendly too, when I pulled up a person from the club house pulled up to my car with a cart. I didn't have to go to them.

Played On 08/06/2017Course needs more Water Bottles on it!!!
Tee boxes were perfectly flat and in great shape. Fairways were in good shape overall except for some bare spots on a few holes. Greens were in good shape and fast as lightning. Since the redesign on the front I noticed my GPS yardage was off on the front. I am not sure how the club would notify someone about this to correct it with all the GPS devices, but that correction needs to be sent in to fix it. My biggest complaint about the course is there were not enough water bottles on the course. The only one I saw was on hole 7. That is clearly inadequate for a hot summer day especially if someone is walking. Now they do have a beer girl riding around charging $2 for a bottle of water but to me that is a way to nickle and dime people to death. Put a water bottle out there about every three holes like most courses do. The beer lady will still sell plenty of beer.

Played On 07/29/2017Great course but not worth $69 on the weekend. Book a twilight round or find a deal through online booking.
This course is in excellent shape, greens are great, fairways are great, tee boxes are in good shape but not perfectly flat. The biggest complaint I have is that some of the sand traps have dirt in them instead of sand. But overall this is a nice course and I love playing it when I can get a deal, it isn't worth the $65 or $69 they charge on the weekend at the normal rate though. So look online and book through this site or competitors sites to get a good deal.

Played On 07/23/2017Great course, slow play on the weekend.
First of all let me say I love this course. The only issue I had is that on this particular day it took 5.5 hours to play 18 holes. Fairways are great, greens are great, tee boxes are good, would be great if they were a little flatter. The only hole I don't really care for on this course is hole 10. That hole is very easy to hit it in the long bushy hazard that runs right next to the fairway. If you don't hit the ball far off the tee you can end up in it very easily.

Played On 06/04/2016Nice Course, To Easy to Hit It Out Of Bounds
This course is in immaculate shape, the tee boxes are great, greens are great, fairways are great. The issue with this course is that houses are built right on the course. If you hit the ball 5 to ten yards to left or right just about on every hole you are Out of Bounds. So take lots of golf balls with you if you aren't a good golfer, you will need them. I see that in the morning on the weekend their rates are ridiculous at like $72, it isn't worth that. If playing on the weekend take advantage of the more affordable twilight rates.

This is a beautiful golf course that is a hidden gem. The course is in the best shape of all the other affordable courses I have played in the area this year. Great price, great layout and great conditions. It has fun holes, challenging holes like number 2' and some beautiful holes like numbers 11 and 13. Great course, great price and great conditions for the price. When you play this course you will swear you are playing a mountain course it is so hilly and beautiful.
