Tough day to enjoy due to wet conditions and a very hot day. Took 3 hours to play front 9, but pro shop was very good about giving us a rain check that’s good until the end of the year. It’s a very good track - just bad timing with several days in a row of rain that preceded our round. I’ll be back.

At a 9:16 tee time, and the starter was very good about making sure everybody was ready to go. Pace of play was good for a fully booked morning, with no long waits - they had a friendly ranger driving around, too. Overall course condition was good, with just a few thin spots in the fairways, and tee boxes, but not bad. Greens were excellent on every hole and rolled very true. Only about 6200 yards from the tips, but a very nice layout, with elevation changes, doglegs, and a couple of long par 4s… A little bit for everyone. Course has been consistently in good shape all year. Not much of a selection for dining, but if you like hot dogs, my buddy said it was pretty good. Staff was friendly. Will definitely be back.

Played here about 20 years ago , and recall it being nice but I’ve seen many of once-nice tracks decline over the years around central FL. But not this one - was terrific on all fronts. Course was in great shape, staff was friendly and professional, and pace of play on a crowded day was very good - played in 4:15. Had lunch at the restaurant which was also excellent. Price for golf and food was a great value too. Won’t be 20 years before I come back - definitely added this one back to my short list.

Course is in pristine condition. Challenging layout but fair. I being to a private club in Florida and this is as good or better, and a great value for about $50-$60 this time of year. Will definitely be back soon.

Played here back in July and gave a negative review, but was hopeful, as I heard that there was new ownership/management, with a major overhaul needed on the course condition. Happy to say that their hard work is paying off. Course was in much better condition from tee to green, and even the rough was much better. Weeds have been virtually eliminated, and many of the bunkers have been completely redone. Staff was also excellent from the pro shop, cart girl, and bar/restaurant. Would give a five star review, but I think there is still room for more improvement, and I have confidence that it will get there. Will definitely be back soon!

I have played this course on and off since 2001. I am a local resident, so I am rooting for them. But it's been a rough few years, with a apparent turnover in ownership and/or management. Hear that they have a good group now, but clearly still have some work to do to improve the conditions. Was disappointed with the condition, after hearing that the course had been improving recently. Puzzled at the second cut of rough not being mowed until it reaches a ridiculous height. It is really an eyesore. Plus, greens are inconsistent. The second green was full of crabgrass, but most others are better. Reasonably priced, but I usually pay more to play a course with better conditions.

I played this course several months ago, and thought that they would improve the landscaping and overall condition as the spring/summer season approached with steady rains, but was still disappointed when I played last week (6/9/13). It seems as though they're either strapped for cash to improve the course conditions, or simply need a new course management/ownership company. Anyone who stated recently that this course is in good/great condition is not being truthful.

Course was in pretty good shape, and the staff was friendly, but a very boring layout. Without all of the bunkers, there would not be much creativity in the layout. One thing that will prevent me from coming back - the on-course bathrooms. I went into one and it had an overpowering urine smell and no ventilation. My playing partner went into the other bathroom on a different part of the course, and had the same experience. I wouldn't normally comment on golf course bathrooms, but they were just that bad.
