Great Golf Courses

Found this gem on GolfNOW and would go back in a minute. We played Las Colinas first and finished in just over 3 hours as a twosome. Greens rolled smooth even though they were sanded and variety of holes was totally anti Florida. They had a ton of land to work with and used it all. #s12-14 are Brutal. 1st Par 5 on the back(#12) though only 460yd or so from the Blues ;ooks like you have a 20 yd window to drive through. Next hole is wide open Par 5 that is complete oppostite and then you have a 470yd par 4 to close out the stretch Awesome value especially for a $50 course.

We played El Campeon in the afternoon and it too is a fun track. We played with another 2some and finished again in under 4 hours despite being pretty busy. Par 3's on this side were memorable and it had unbelievable elevation changes, especially for Florida. Felt like we were playing in New England or on the RTJ in Alabama. Overall, we liked Las Colinas better but you cannot go wrong either way.

Always a good time on the RTJ

Since leaving BHM in 2003, I have come back several times on business and to play golf. This is the 2nd time I have played Ross Bridge since it opened. Course is not memorable like their Pratville and Grand National locations but it is in good shape and it is better than Oxmoor Valley. Played it from the Orange at just under 6800 yds. Course is very forgiving with plenty of room for my erratic game Greens were tremendous. Stay on property @ the Renaissance and it is totally worth it.

Windy Day on the Wolf

After playing the Snow course on Thursday, I was dying to get back out here and was able to make it happen Saturday afternoon. Paired up with 3 young bombers from Colorado, we attacked the Wolf from the Gold tees. Course is in incredible condition Tee to Green and the scenery with the mountain backdrop is unreal. Great closing holes starting with the island 15th. We played in extremely windy conditions that seemed almost normal to the locals. Be prepared to have to think your way through the entire round as we maybe had wind at our backs on 3 of the 18. Most holes were played in an extreme crosswind. The greens hold and putt true. Cannot ask for anything more. I would play any of these courses every day. GReat value for the $$$. Nice job Paiute Golf!

Excellent Value in LV

Found this track on GolfNow and was very pleased. Conditions were outstanding, and, despite having a tournament, the on course rangers were able to considerably speed up play and kept us posted on their progress. I liked the Wolf better but Snow is no joke. Greens putt smooth and hold irons. Fairways are in great shape. No excuse not to score here.
