It was a pleasant day. Walked it and enjoyed it.
Some bare patches on the fairways but generally okay. Somewhat muddy.
Overall the greens were good.
As a first time player I wished I had been warned when checking in about driving range he to the left of hole 1.

Use to be nice course. Greens are bumpiy and disease plagued.
Fairways bald in many spots.

Wow, what a fun little course. Really enjoyed the round. Surroundings were nice. Would recommend it for sharpening your short game.
Franklin Canyon Golf Course

i like Franklin, but the tee boxes were in bad shape.
Front nine greens were also hit or miss.
Still muddy!

It has been twenty years since I played here. Teed off on a Monday so not many players which was great.
I forgot how pretty it was here. Perfect course to walk for me.
It was a terrific value.

The fellow behind the counter checking us in must have been trained by Putin. He seemed perturbed we were there. He tossed the cart key at us. We asked about range balls. "No range balls we are all out." Obviouslyt a
stupid question Asked him what cart we should take. "Check with the Starter." No Starter to be found.
Must have had bad day.
Lake Chabot Golf Course - The 18 Hole Course

We had a very slow foursome in front of us for 18 holes. They must have had four open holes in front of then. Added at least 45-60 minutes to the round.
For the 5 hours I was there no one from the club house was seeing what was going on.
A good deal dollar wise, but you better not tell your wife a time you will be home.

The only "bug" in the round was the slow play. There was a threesome two groups ahead of us that was extremely sluggish. Took nearly five hours on a Wednesday where the course was just about empty.
I saw two marshals but one just waved at us and the other was on his cell.
However this was not deter me from returning.
