ChampionsGate Country Club
Played On 05/19/2017Thoroughly enjoyed this course. It came highly recommended from several people and it did not disappoint. The course was moderately challenging but everything was right in front of you. Good shots are rewarded and poor shots are manageable within reason. Greens were immaculate and ran flat and true. Only issue was with pace of play. We waited all day and on several holes there were 3 groups playing the same hole. No ranger anywhere in sight to help move groups along. Pace was mostly a factor of poor etiquette from players not understanding how to play efficiently. Definitely will return to play again.
Reunion Resort - Nicklaus Course
Played On 04/25/2017Not the Bears best :(
I was really looking forward to playing this course and I came away disappointed in this course and can't believe it is allowed to keep the Nicklaus brand associated with it given its lack of maintenance. Conditions were poor especially greens which were slow and beat up. The course is tricked up and its a shame because it could be a great track if it allowed more options off the tee and into the greens. Its very obvious that Jack wants this course to play to a fade and most draws even down the middle are funneled into trouble. This is the one to skip if you're going to play Reunion. Watson and Palmer courses are so much better that you would not know that all 3 courses are related to the same property.
Falcon's Fire Golf Club
Played On 01/05/2017Slooooooow Greens
Haven't played this course in years. Layout is very nice and fairways were in good shape. The greens however were the slowest greens I have ever played here in Central Florida. It really detracted from our groups round and enjoyment of the course. It will probably be many more years before I return as there are so many other options close by with much better and truer greens. Mow em and roll em.
Grand Cypress - North/South

Grand Cypress does it right. The staff is attentive, the grounds are maintained to a very high standard. The playing conditions are always top notch and the South Course will give you all the challenge you need. You get all the amenities that you would expect. Free Range use prior to your round, more than enough putting and short game practice areas. Water and ice is available at multiple locations throughout the course as well as comfort stations that always seem to be in just the right place. As other top level courses near the attractions (OCN) are cutting back, no more range balls, no more water, no more GPS, no frills of any kind the folks at Grand Cypress continue to provide the top experience. It has become my course of choice because they don't skimp on the things that golfers appreciate. Thanks Grand Cypress
Hello Paul, thank you for your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed the layout and fairways. We overseed our greens as opposed to most courses in the area, unfortunately with recent 80 degree plus weather we have been working to help the grass survive by leaving it a little longer, but we have started lowering the heights, so they will back up to speed in a few days. Thank you again for your feedback.
