This is my first review, so I'm gonna give it some thought. Great golf shop, lots of apparel and equipment as well. The range has synthetic mats and I don't like those too much, but to each their own.

The golf cart was probably the nicest I've ever sat in. Big cushy seats, good suspension, and GPS thingy with hole layout.

The tee boxes were a little beat up but recently over seeded. The fairways were good with very few patch parts. The greens were first rate, probably the best in San Diego right now. Smooth, true and fast. Complex and difficult.

I could not discern if this was a hard course or a strange layout. There are some holes that don't make sense to me and awkward tree placement in some spots. Not just challenging tree placement but sometimes just weird.

The marshall was on us around the 9th hole and we were ahead of the group behind us by two holes. I can appreciate pace of play but I don't know where he was coming from. We finished our round in 4:10.

Anyways, it was a good time and beautiful day. I would like to come back and play it again with a little more course knowledge, maybe play with a local.
