The front 9 holes has a lot of water and forced carry over water. The back 9 is pretty much open except for a big gully and trees on a couple of holes.

The fairways were in bad need of mowing, and so was the rough. Bunkers were like concrete. The overall condition of the course was rather rough.

If you are just looking for a place to play at a low price and are not particular about course conditions, you might find this course acceptable, but don't expect neatly mowed fairways or smooth greens. It's just very basic golf. Two stars.

Very enjoyable round of golf. Course was in excellent condition. I would have preferred that the greenside bunkers have a little softer/deeper sand, but I got out both times that I got in the bunkers.

The layout of the course is very good, and the greens are somewhat tricky due to the slope of the greens.

Rather picturesque course with some hills and valleys. Course runs through a nice residential area. Nice homes along the course and fortunately I didn't hit any of them. ;) Fairly wide fairways on most holes.

A very playable course for the intermediate golfer.

This is a challenging (mostly) par 3 course with several different tee boxes on each hole to accommodate a variety of playing skills.

There is a lot of elevation change on several holes which makes it interesting. The course winds through a nice housing development and is mostly on top of a ridge with very scenic views. You would be pleasantly surprised at the elevation change on this course in Florida.

This is a great course to work on your medium to short game and great for working on your chipping. I used my driver only twice, but used my mid-irons a lot from the tee. My wife used her driver a lot because she doesn't hit the ball very far.

The staff was friendly and competent. The course was in very good condition. I thought the greens were a little slow, but other than that, I have no complaints at all. I plan to play it again and would recommend it to others.

The Monarch course is always in good to excellent condition. The greens were a little slower yesterday than what I was used to playing up north during the summer, but the course is in great shape, the staff is very friendly, and there is great value for the money.
