I’ve always liked this place. Every time I’ve played here in the past year I’ve noticed it getting better and better. This time however, not so much. The 1st 2 greens were terrible. The rest were slow and inconsistent. Fairways were fine. Hope they get the greens fixed.

Found this little gem on GN while attending a nearby college graduation. Playing as a single, caught up with 2 gentlemen who immediately let me play through. Caught another twosome with an FJB flag who wouldn't even acknowledge my presence, thanks a lot! Dropped back with the 1st two locals and had a great time with them. Course was in good condition, greens were a little slow, but smooth and fair. Lovely layout with some hidden water hazards, but these were marked by red flags, which was nice. Staff was awesome. Genuinely friendly and helpful. I stress genuine, they were so nice.

1st time here. As a single, I let the group behind me join as the twosome in front of me didn’t have the decency to acknowledge my presence despite parking right behind them on every tee box. Course layout was fantastic. I got into a lot of trouble not knowing where to be, but I was also not on my game, so most was on me. Conditions were great for this time of year, particularly after the recent cold wave that went through. Staff was friendly, beer was cold and reasonably priced.

Had the course to myself as it started raining when I got there and everybody left. I waited about 15 min and it slowed down enough to play. Very fast greens, just how I like it. Nothing bad to say about the place. Staff very friendly, grounds well manicured.

Course was great, staff very courteous. If you’re playing this for the 1st time, I recommend playing with someone who has played it before. From hole 9 on, there are many blind shots and it’s very important to be in the right place to score. The greens were tricky too. Many optical illusions where you think you’re putting downhill, when in fact, it is uphill. But it is fun and there’s a great view on every hole.

Great layout and in excellent condition. Loved the elevation changes and twisty fairways. Greens were fast and fair, but watch out for the downhill putts. I had a few putts for birdie that turned into bogies where the bal rolled past the hole and just kept on going. And going…. Quite the deal too for $35!

Played about a month ago and course is still improving, keep up the good work. Greens nicer, looking good, but a little slow. Got matched up with 2 brothers and had a very good time. Staff was great, especially the starter. Love the layout and so glad the conditions keep on getting better.

Played with an old dear friend. Got matched up with another couple that we’e nice. Greens had been top dressed and therefore slow, but with the exception of #2, were in decent shape. Have always loved the layout here.

The course was nice, especially the Marsh course. A couple of great holes right on the bay. Wind was howling that day and all the holes on the bay were 2-3 clubs longer because of that, but still magnificent. Staff was great and friendly, but the clubhouse and grounds could use some work.

Nice layout, fun and challenging. Slow foursome in front of the group in front of us. Greens were in good shape, with one or two exceptions, but they’re working on it. Hilly, which is unusual for Florida. Me likey.

Great course. You must be aware of where to get your ball on the green to be below the hole as there are severe downhill breaks. Staff was fantastic on a busy day. Cart barn was hustling getting carts back out for second rounds. Pro shop staff were sweet and helpful.

Played this a few years ago and it is much improved. Layout nice, natural beauty everywhere. Greens and fairways in great shape. My only complaint was the starter let 3 groups tee off in front of us, telling us that they were just completing the last 2 holes of a tournament. I was ok with that, but they played all 18 holes! And they were slow. So my expected 3.5 hour round so that I could get to a 2 pm meeting turned into a +5 hr round. I had to leave after 14 holes.

Great conditions and a challenging course. Large elevation changes, high yardage and deep rough make for some tough holes. Spent a lot of time looking for balls that were in play somewhere, my fault for not hitting it straight.
Greens in great condition. Several bunkers were under repair, but at least they’re fixing them instead of ignoring. Pace of play was quick. Played through only one group who let me go Through immediately. Saw another foursome ahead of me in the back nine, but never caught them, and I was a single!
Overall, a great experience.

What a great track! Weather was beautiful, the 3 other random players I got hooked up with were nice, and my girlfriend was by my side. Challenging holes, great conditions and nice greens. Wow, I’m using a lot of commas! Pace of play was a little slow, but that was our group! One guy was a little slow. But we kept up with the group in front of us anyway. Will definitely be back to this course, I loved it and want some revenge on some holes where I played them wrong (1st time here).

1 golf ball used all day, that says it all. Played well, but could not buy a birdie. Overestimating the break every time. Greens were fast and true. Teed off on time, pace of play was great. Love the layout.

Even though the greens were aerated just a week and a half ago, they still played fast and smooth. One putt got knocked off line because of an aeration hole, no big deal. Had the course to ourselves as it was a Monday. Shot a 78, and that was with a double bogey on #17 that was utterly preventable. Had a great time and a good deal from GolfNow.

Weather was great, people I was paired with were fun and the course is getting better every time I play here. Well done on getting the greens back in shape. They are smooth, fast, and consistent. Good greens make such a difference in the experience!

Geeens are in the best shape I’ve seen at this course in years. Bunkers were full of nice white sand and I sampled many of them, ahem. Good job to the staff and management for making the commitment to restoring the course. It would have been so easy to let the course go and feed it to the lawyers and real estate money grabbers. And then we would have lost another golf course in North Florida. Come out and play!

Had the course to myself, played in 2.5 hours. Greens looked kinda dead, but were fast and true. Think it's just that time of year where they are in transition, they are always in very good condition here. Wish I had brought my A game, the wheels came off on the back 9.

Pay attention to hole layout, especially the front 9. The 2nd hole is a sharp dogleg left to a blind island green. From his backyard, a local resident told me where the hole was, as I couldn't find it. Also 2 hidden water hazards on hole 5 on each side of the fairway. Course was hilly and fun. Greens were slow and a little patchy.
