Port at Harborside International Golf Center
Played On 06/25/2023Not a fan of this course anymore, starting to show age, cart paths you take your life into own hands, greens where no one fixes hallmarks, pot holes in cart paths,no sand in bunkers, worse was playing through multiple foursomes as a single where was forced to wait while golfers in front were giving lessons to players, won’t be back

Played On 08/24/2017Ok
Only problem was starter made us wait for other groups when we were clear in pro shop to go,was sending singles and twosomes out behind many foursomes which slowed it down a bit.starter was not really in good mood frustrating was that he made us wait for groups that were no where to be found, otherwise a good time..

should have known for $10 and lack of cars in the lot that something was wrong The Aberdeen I remember was full of cars and people hitting balls on range waiting to tee off. There was none of that, should have known when pro shop was empty and
no one to help with bags. Course was in questionable shape as grass was burnt, greens with lots of ball marks, grass and weeds growing in the bunkers that were like concrete. The fairways on some holes had quite a bit of standing water on them and they allowed carts which made it really messy,in addition almost every cart path and bridge seemed to be broken,(the spot between 16th and 17th hole was broken and not marked, not very safe).I WILL NOT RETURN HERE. I wish all the best to
new owners and Billy Casper golf to breath some life into Aberdeen because it needs it!!!

Had played in league for 6 years at this course however yesterday when we played this course,it was very sloppy and around greens it appeared that some carts were being driven right up to the fringe resulting in very sloppy conditions..pace of play was good but very puzzling redesign in spots, for example on the 13rd hole between the 150 and 200 yd marker in the middle you have about 50 yds of rough which takes away from flow of hole. Also about 200 yds out from tee on 16th you have rocks in middle of fairway going in 3 different directions which again makes no sense.
Senica's Oak Ridge Golf Club
Played On 08/31/2014good bang for buck
nice course for the money, very well maintained and great clubhouse, everybody from pro to fellow players were incredibly nice, would play again
Water's Edge Golf Club
Played On 08/01/2014has potential
greens and teeboxs were all beat up(does anyone fix a ballmark any more),also, average golfer does not appreciate pin placements put on top or bottom of a rise on the green so you spend the day trying to figure out how hard to hit putt to get it to hole only to stop a foot short or as playing partners did 15-20 feet coming back
Glenwoodie Country Club
Played On 04/20/2014glenwoodie
course has seen effects of winter as grass is dormet
in spots and greens though above average in speed looked awful. would have played faster if gentleman in front was not hitting a small bucket on every hole.
Puerto Cancun Golf Club
Played On 01/21/2014nice course but way overpriced
if paying $150 for golf on a course without a clubhouse or bathroom on the course this is your place!! A course in its infancy that has the potential to be a nice track, however if you want to appeal to people that are not native to the area you do not charge them 2-3 times($150-$200)to play a round more than the locals.A steep premium to pay to play around of golf,(thank God my friend loaned me his clubs)The only reason for the low marks was the lack of a clubhouse and lack of bathroom anywhere on course except for porta potties near the trailer. Also do not take bus from hotel zone or you will have a long walk to the course. If you know you want to play this course a 2nd time let them know in trailer and they will pick you up. Also absolutely no way to book this course online except through golfnow, course gets redirected to golf cancun website that will not filter through..
Wicker Memorial Park Golf Course
Played On 8/25/2013you get what you pay for
not particularly hard, greens a tad slow, lots of dead areas throughout course, pace of play was super fast. played 18holes w/cart in a little over 2hrs and that was because I had to wait on last two holes. a lot of stray singles and 2somes that did not want to play w/this single in mid afternoon. could not figure that out..average course for $30 ..a lot of better choices closer to home for a little less.
Iberostar Cancun Golf Club
Played On 6/24/2013nice course in cancun hotel zone
played early morning on 6/24/13 w/another American, had great time played entire round in about 3hrs,greens were in good shape considering the tempertures, beat up in spots but for the most part was in good condition, deal is lunch and free drinks that make it a good value in the hotel zone. staff from checking in to valets throughout course were very friendly. Miguel who gave me my rental clubs was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would play again!!
