Barton Creek overall needs a to-do. Showing signs of age.

Like losing golf balls within a foot of the fairway in 6-inch rough with bushels of mown grass lying around? Go to Little River. Owners obviously spent big bucks building a beautiful club house and condos for golfers. Some of the money should be spent on redoing greens, mowing rough, fixing bunkers, etc. Played LR often but not for a few years. Shocked totally at how conditions have fallen off.

Been paying Talamore for more than 15 years and conditions were worst I've experienced there. Collars recently resodded so rough and shaggy, greens filled with bare spots, wet fairway areas from drainage problems. Won't be back anytime soon. Spend your money at Legacy not far away.

Aside from a funky first hole, a good track. Too bad the conditions are not so good. Day-to--day maintenance is lacking.

A favorite course to visit. Great track, no two holes alike -- up, down, water, sand, open, etc. Great finishing stretch. No. 4 a real testing par-3. Worth a visit.
