Celebration Golf Club

Fairways are in good shape, greens are smooth yet firm, chipping and pitching can be difficult from bare/thin areas. Tee boxes were chewed up or not moved for the day. All due to lack of rain in Orlando. It'd be nice to have watered around the greens a little.
Round took 5 hours plus. It's always slow at Celebration. Staff is friendly and courteous, but a ranger is necessary out there. Perhaps the browned out rough isn't containing wayward shots so every hole someone is searching for their ball. For taking so long, you'd hope players would rake the bunkers and fix their divots and pitch marks, but you'd be wrong.
They manage the staging area well, but once you're out in the course golfers are left to their own devices which means long rounds. I've yet to ever tee off on time at Celebration either, they like to over book their course with tournaments and groups.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent visit to Celebration Golf Club. I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with us. We completely understand the frustration associated with a slow pace. We do take this very seriously and always have at least one ranger on the golf course at all times. While the course always appears to be busy we do not book more than 4 players per allotted tee time at our standard intervals. On this particular day we did have several groups cause a pace issue that we were unsuccessful in correcting for all players.
