West at Inverrary Country Club
Played On 11/13/2017Good to play out of season
A good course to play for mid-high handicappers. I recommend that you play non-peak times as in season the course is quite busy with Snowbirds who at times can be annoying. They play 5somes and can be very slow. I am a resident of South Florida and have had many an experience playing behind these groups so I know of what I speak . Also if you talk to the rangers and other staff you can get these same sentiments. Beware when it's windy as the par 3's can be difficult as the greens are guarded by water! Course management is recommended.
Carolina Golf Club
Played On 11/08/2017A course to challenge you in South Florida
Playing from the blue tees is a challenge for 10-18 handicappers. Course management is necessary and wayward shots can be costly. Fairways are in good -very good condition. Greens are mostly good but some show disease, hopefully this can be corrected before the upcoming season. Some yardage markers in the fairways. GPS on the carts would be great as the score sheets do not give a good visual of hole directions. Lots of water for errant shots. Couldn't find the bag drop nor a cart attendant upon arrival. The degree of challenge and overall condition warrants a play for most. Would recommend
West at Inverrary Country Club
Played On 10/16/2017Worth the drive and cost
Inverrary Golf Courses have a storied past. Home to many past championships. The course is in fairly good shape. There is work being done on the greens to prepare for the upcoming busy winter season. Layout is somewhat challenging for mid-handicappers. Would definitely recommend playing now before the busy season as when I played in Jan. the pace of play was ridiculous!
The clubhouse has been in need of a/c repairs over the entire summer, however the staff is good.
Eagle Trace Country Club
Played On 05/03/2017Very good challenge
A challenge for most golfers so pick your appropriate tee to get the most out of your round. A few greens needs some work . Now is a slow time of the year so I guess that's why no beverage cart.
Pines at Woodmont Country Club
Played On 12/28/2016Fair challenge
A good challenge for low to high handicappers. There should be yardage markers on the holes where water fronts the green. Course map on the scorecard would be extremely beneficial. Flag colors not very indicative of pin placements.
The Quarry Golf Course
Played On 09/24/2015Interesting
Being from South Florida playing the course was a nice change. The undulations of the fairways made for creative shots and with the weather (dry) nice roll. #10 has water on the right of the dogleg which cannot be seen from the fairway. Greens were a tad slow so recommend going to the practice green before the round.

Good challenging course for medium to good players.Lots of bunkers to contend with.As the GPS system was not working it would have been good to have some yardage system in place.
Country Club of Coral Springs

very good course in good condition. Staff was working on the greens which shows commitment from the management. Challenging for a 15-24 handicapper from the blues. GPS would make for a great experience!

Very good course and certainly not for beginners. Several sets of tees to suit your game. Very good to excellent value for the money.

Do not like the idea of walkers allowed on at the same time as riders.
West at Inverrary Country Club
Played On 10/17/2012Only glitch was that the greens were being sanded and the lunch special was not available to GolfNow members
Well maintained course - fairways and greens. Bunkers coud do with fresh sand.
I think you are referring to #1 being the dogleg with water unseen. You may have started in the back nine, thus a understandable mistake. Cheers!
