Great afternoon

I bought a "hot deal" on a round of golf at this course, and I misjudged how far away I was from the course when I purchased. I called the clubhouse to let them know that I was running behind. The gentleman that answered couldn't have been nicer. I got there, and the starter was there to greet me. When I got in, they told me to take my time, and they would get me on with no problem. As I came to find out, I wasn't pushed at all, and I was able to take my time and play a very relaxed round. The staff there is super friendly and very accommodating even for the GolfNow guy that only paid $20.

I started on the "Bay"' course for the first nine, and then I moved onto the "Lake" course for the second nine. I liked the Bay side a little better, but the Lake course was fun as well. Nobody was out there at that time, and I was able to take my sweet time. I immensely enjoyed not being pushed.

I am a terrible golfer, and I make no excuses about it. I say that to say that if you are all over the place off the tee like I am, the houses are pretty close to the fairways, and luckily my misses were in the trees a couple of times. If you have a wild slice, you could conceivably hit a roof top. If you can golf at all (unlike me), you shouldn't have much to worry about.

The greens were in good shape and look like they had been well maintained. There's a pretty good bit of sand on the course but a minimal amount of water. I also live in North Georgia where every course seems to be on a hill, and every lie is uneven. This course is nothing but generally good lies and ,all in all, a fun course. The length is pretty standard. I added a few pictures including one that I don't get often with the huge plane flying over!

Very nice course...lots of fun

I was able to get a tee time on this course for 8:06 on a Friday morning for $18.50 out the door. If you see something like this, jump on it. The course is very nice. Greens were in decent condition and very slow. The slowness of the greens takes some getting used to. I picked up with three other guys, and they were all of varying skill levels, but we had a great time. Carts are in great shape. Highly recommend, particularly if you can get a deal.
