Glenlakes Golf Club - Vista/Dunes Course

Loved the course and had a great time until hole 16 when I had to sit and wait for 2 women members fish balls out of the hazard right in front of the green. Then when I finished the hole another member came up to the exact same spot ball hawking. It's like seriously man? Do you people need golf balls this bad? It turned my opinion of the course from top notch to senior villa golf living. Short, tight course that is well manicured.

The course is short but tight so driver really isn't needed aside from par 5's. I played tips at a whopping 6300 yards
The course appears to have been designed for golf in the early to mid 1900's and weaves through a neighborhood. I thought the fairways were in good shape but the greens were sanded lightly so I cannot really tell how they usually are. I thought they rolled pretty good considering .The course is well worth playing and is a steal if you get the hot deal- very fun to play with doglegs everywhere. Most players will need extra balls because it is a tight course. I think most of the reviews were a little harsh. I am a single digit handicapper so you choose if I know what I am saying. If I had any complaint I would say directions between holes was unclear and need marked.

This course was amazing from the moment I drove in to the course. The clubhouse is gorgeous, great deals in the shop, and the staff is wonderful. The driving range, practice green, and the chipping area are easily accessible from the clubhouse. The layout and view is spectacular and a well groomed course. Fantastic greens. Even the Areas in the rough where notmally you have sand for Florida courses was well manicured. A must play at any price. I had a hot deal for $55 and this course ranks up there with top notch private courses.
Emerald Bay Golf Club

The course was in great shape but very windy. The layout really makes you think and you will play every club in the bag. Greens were great - just a little hard so didn't really leave ball marks. There are aome really nice views of the water. It does wind through villas that are strict about not playing in the yards- so stay put of people's yard. Very challenging course and fairly short.

Pristine golf course. I am amazed that it wasn't booked all day. The ter boxes and fairways were immaculate. The rough was even in great shape. The greens were hard but beautiful so make sure you plan it to roll out even with premium balls. Every hole is challenging. Water is in sneaky places so be careful. The starter was very friendly and even gave me a yardage book (a must have on this course.). Very fun course and even has a driveable par 4. A must play at any price.
"Best In Destin" WOW that is saying a lot!!! There are many wonderful golf courses in the area so I take this as a HUGE compliment. It sounds like we succeeded in the OVERALL EXPERIENCE that we truly try and give each and every guest that chooses to play here. I say Choose because you decided to spend your hard earned money here and I want you to know that means so much to me. I realize Golf can be super expensive and the fact that you trusted us to give you a product as advertised goes a long way. Turf Care really puts their hearts in their work and I believe it shows.
