Very good but challenging golf course. I normally shoot around 80 but shot 90!! Fairways are very tight on most holes and I must have hit a tree off the tee 9 times. The Par 3’s are beautiful and somewhat easier. However the greens are undulated bringing 3 putts and hard chipping into play. The course is in pretty good shape for this time of year and we got a good hot deal. Played here 30 years ago when is was very private. Glad to see the course and neighborhood is still looking good. Hope to play again and improve my score!!

Played this course in the afternoon after working the Byron Nelson. Not quite as good as Las Colinas but a real bang for the buck. Greens were really good and the fairways were plush. Loved the layout and the sand is as good as it gets. Will definitely play again when we return to Dallas.

Great time playing on a Tuesday afternoon. Course was in good condition with very good greens. A few bare spots and reworking Par 3 on Amen Corner but overall the course is in good condition. Our group played Amen Corner even par so we were thrilled. Will definitely play again.

Course was in good shape this time of year. Unfortunately we played two days after green aeration. The fairways were very hard and balls would roll into trouble at times. Better bring a good wedge off tight lies. Our 2 elder players played the women's tees and drive 3 of the greens. The most fun he had in a long time. Retire early and play on a Tuesday.

Very challenging course that requires a lot of patience with your short game. The greens were very fast and undulating. Putts downhill will take your breath away. The fairways were hard and made the course play a little short but no one came close to shooting their handicap. Great guys golf trip.

Played on a Wednesday afternoon. Course is close to where I am staying so I thought I would play. Very crowded and pace of play was 5 hours due to greens were almost barren and impossible to putt. They need to change to tiff Bermuda but no city $ availabile. I would wait 2 months and try again. Rough was brutal and hard to find ball. Many holes are very short and many very long with long carry off the tee to get to fairway. I will continue to make the drive to Limestone When I visit

Course is right up there with Squire Creek and the TPC. Everything was in tip top shape. Staff was great and cart girl did a good job. Greens were in great shape and would punish any missed aggressive play. Fairways were fine and the rough was fairly hard to hit from. Plan on adding a few strokes to your handicap the first time around. Only problem was the 100+F heat index when we played.

Best golf course in Louisiana. Course was in great shape. The greens had been recently sanded and slowed down the pace a tad. That allowed all 4 of us to 3 putt only 5 times a piece. If you like a challenge then this is the course for you. Everything is A+. Better bring your A+ short game if you want to shoot your handicap. I have played twice and about doubled my 7 handicap each time.

Played on a beautiful Tuesday am. The greens and fairways were in great shape. Could have been better if there was a cart girl and better driving range but the course layout and elevation changes made this fun to play for a group of southern boys.

Great layout in a off the road golf course. Course and greens are in good shape. The greens were slow but put table if you can get a rhythm. Make sure you take a look at #9 before playing as it is a blind shot. FYI our gps did not find the exact position of the course. Look for the sign on the last turn. I did not play to well yesterday or I might have given a better rating. Only complaint was hitting off concrete like mats at the driving range.

Great layout and views from a course about 45 minutes from Gadsden and Birmingham. Did not rate a 5 because they just punched greens and the summer Bermuda has not taken off. Well worth the drive and price. I played on a weekday so it was not crowded.

Greens were in very bad condition for this time of year. Had lots of rain but there are better places to play. Very tight fairways. Will not play again.

Course still in good shape and a pleasure to play. The greens and bunkers are in good shape. The fairways are ok for March.

Enjoyed playing a cool round with hardly anyone on course. Greens were ok for this time of year. Great course when you don't want to pay Grand National prices.

I love this course with lots of elevation changes. I played a month ago and the greens are much better now. Unfortunately I got caught behind a tournament for about 9 holes but still managed a 4 hour round. A must play for the value when traveling south of Dallas on I45.

Played a very fast round on a windy Wednesday. The course was in pretty good shape even after a lot of rain the last week. I really liked playing Amen Corner. The greens were not perfect but should be getting there soon. The only complaint is that the holes into the wind were very long from the blue tees for this 6 handicapper. You better bring your A game to shot your handicap. Our threesome agreed that tis is one course you will want to play at least once.

A great golf course with a lot of interesting holes. The greens are in very good shape and the course in good shape even after an 8 inch rainstorm a week ago. It can be played from many sets of tees and is fairly long compared to other similar courses. My only complaint was a birdie putt that came out after hitting the white cup liner of which I am not a fan. Will definitely play again when I am in the area again.

We had a blast playing this elevated tee box course. Tee it high and let it fly and watch your ball sail away. I really liked the downhill par 3 on the front. You can hit 2 less clubs there. The greens are coming back but did not effect play. Friendly Staff and cart girl came by 5 times. Good value and easy access to interstate. A definite go back and play again now that I know where the holes are. Make sure you get the yardage book.

A great golf layout if you like scenic views and hitting elevated tee shots. An easy access just off the interstate. Our group had a blast playing this course. The greens are still recovering but the pins were all in areas where putting was no problem. Most shots just off the fairway bounced toward the middle. Make sue you get the yardage book. The Staff was very friendly and the cart girl showed up 5 times during our round. Don't try to get to 10 in 2 shots unless you are very long! Will definitely be back.

Couse was in good shape, rough was a little high which made hitting the fairway a plus. Cart girl came around often. I was a single and got to play with a guy who had played 274 rounds this year.
