Had a marvelous time at Governors Town Club. Greens putted true/ fast but fringe was dead and needed work. Condition of course otherwise was perfect. Great layout and place to treat oneself when needing a special day.

Great day on a fine course. Need to groom traps and repair deer tracks on greens every day.. Be sure to try grill as part of your experience.

Wonderful day except for waiting on every shot. Rangers provided no help as told our responsibility to negotiate playing through! Attempted to no avail as very frustrating. Eventually gave up and left course.

Wonderful layout and greens but fairways and course maintenance was lacking. Weeds everywhere.... Traps not raked in ages. Course has potential for 4.5 rating and shame in allowing maintenance to underperform.

Whether you have your A game or something less, a memorable experience is the goal, especially on vacation. This was not the case at Holiday! A nice course in good condition gets overlooked in a 5+ hour outing. Waiting on every shot gets old fast.. Older crowd that would not wave anyone through is what I was told by others in parking lot and experienced first hand. Gave up on 16 tee after 5 hr and 20 min.

Greens are multi level and be sure to be on correct level or at least below the hole! Putt fast and true. Greens are hard so have to take into account on approach shots. Although not a long track, target golf and a difficult course for even lowest handicap.

Memory of course from years past was major disappointment with what we experienced. Cart trail in major need of repair, traps had more rocks than sand, prior night's rain had course flooded, no differentiation between rough and fairway- just a totally sub par muni experience.
Bent Tree Country Club

On a cold, windy day a North Georgia mountain course was a challenge. Greens were excellent and very fast, course leaf free in fairways and rough (a challenge in November), and course design is top shelf and enjoyable at 6200-6500 yds.

GREAT comment about the rangers. Last time I was there, the "rangers" were more interested in finding lost balls than in enforcing pace of play and getting slow groups to speed up. It seemed as though the rangers were more interested in getting their "free" golf since they work there and also finding lost balls than helping slow groups to speed up and not hold up all the groups behind them.
