Sweet Round
Love the La Costa layout .. challenging but fair .. need to know where to hit on a few holes, but mostly things are out in front of you .. probably wouldn't pay rack rate, but GolfNow was reasonable

Played Hillcrest numerous times over the years and never seen it in such scruffy condition...former bunkers have just been let go into rocky waste areas or grown into mottled mess...I understand you're not supposed to hit it there but we're amateurs right? Fairways & greens good and pace of play better than I remember in previous visits - but not worth more than $40-45

You are correct the bunkers are going thru a renovation right now so that we can improve them. You are also correct that the fairways and greens are in great shape. For our price and conditions we consider ourselves one of the best values around. Thanks for playing we hope to see you back soon.
