Lush golf

I always enjoy playing this course and have never really been dissappointed. The course is in great shape as far as the greens and fairways are concerned except, if you go off the fairway you will have a very hard time finding your ball because the rough is REALLY rough. I guess the mowers just can't keep up. There are parts of golf balls all over the place because the mowers can't see them in the rough and end up chopping them up. Other than that, it is a fun course.

Great course in great condition with great staff.

The course is in great condition. Fairways, greens paths, you name it, it was perfect! We played the mountain course and had a great time. The only thing, however, is that it is not named the Mountain course for nothing. Our fousome is all in our late sixties, and by the time we were finished with No. 18, we were totally worn out! Thank god that No. 18, a par 5, was down hill. We were tired but happy and I do recommend to play this course but you'd better be in good shape plus, it is NOT a beginners course, to be sure.

Course in pretty good shape and greens are great.

The fairways are thin in some places but other than that the course is fine. One tee box on the next to last par 3 on Anza is being resoded but that is the only one we ran into. Overall, the course is very playable.

Great value for the money and fun.

For the first time playing this course I was a little worried if I could manage it in a decent fashion but there were no problems. The course is layed out beautifly and we had a great time. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the cart girl was great also. The greens had been airiated but still rolled ok. Even though there were some thin spots in some of the fairways, all in all, they were in great shape. We usally play the courses in the Green Valley area and around which is always pretty good but playing this course was a special treat and we will definity be coming back.

Course OK on 7-3-13.

When we played the course on 7-3-13 it was fine but it has suffered severly from a monsoon strike this past week and only 9 holes are now open. Check with the course before booking.

Very playable--a work in progress.

This course is very playable. The greens are in great shape and there is plenty of new sand in the traps. They are putting allot of water on the fairways and greens. Towards the left and right rough areas, it is brown. Some of the tee boxes and fairways near the tee boxes are brown but the majority of the fairway is green with some cush. This is a fun course to play and they aren't charging much for it so, as I see it, it is still a go!

Give it a couple of months and with warmer temps, this course will be back in great shape.

The management is working hard to bring this great course back to it's original condition. The sand traps are full of new fine grain sand and the trap edges are being cleaned up. The fairways are good now and will be better when the temps get into the 80's and above. The greens are bumpy and slow now, but given time I am sure they will be back to their speedy and smooth conditions. Give it a try and I'm sure you will enjoy it.

The course is in perfect condition and is fun to play and the cart girl is great, also.

The course is in great condition and the best value for the buck in the area. Greens are great and a nice cush on the fairways and the sand traps are very playable. You can't ask for much more and did I mention the cart girl?

The fairways are beautiful and greens are beautiful..

The course has just reopened from overseeding and you can now drive your carts on the fairways. The fairways are beautiful and there is a good cushion of grass under your ball for your second or thrid shots, depending if a par 4 or 5. I think they are the BEST in the entire golf complex south of Tucson. The greens are fine except for # 1 which is bare in some spots.
