I played this course about 5 years ago and although I thought it was a very good layout it was so scruffy . . Returning here I was pleasantly surprised with regards the condition , it was excellent. Friendly check in, bag drop and starter plus great value for money. Well done, keep it going! John Bennett

Course was in great condition, excellent layout . Pace of play was reasonable and not slow enough to bother our group. Greens slower than I remember them but that was good in a way as they were lightening quick last time.

See above. Only thing to add was the starter didn’t seem to know if we were paired up or not, then he said we might be and eventually decided to find out; we were eventually paired up and that was a positive. Overall, this wasn’t the Oyster Reef I have played before, seemed very tired

Course layout is fantastic with many interesting holes. Could do with GPS on buggies as it is difficult to access distances to water and the carry. The course itself was very scruffy indeed, hardly any grass on the fairways , greens average and paths and tees very unkempt. Staff who we came across never waved or acknowledged us; felt like a course in decline and yet in top condition I would say it could be one of the best

Tees were very scruffy. Fairways partially bare. Layout was good but the overall condition of the course detracted from this positive.

Friendly greeting, pace of play good. Greens very slow, but course in good condition. Some exceptional holes, in particular 7, 8 and 15 but it helps if you gave played here before because 7 and 15 need a plan. Overall, a good course and value for money

We were a two ball in between two 4 balls so pretty slow, articulately at the turn where people must stop and take a break , we didn't and waited twenty minutes to play our next shot. Course was very scruffy , fairways and particularly tee boxes. Greens very fast and up unless you knew exact yard ages it was difficult if you went past the pins, some impossible putts unless the hole stopped them. All in all I think this needs a bit of TLC

Played on a very warm day, we were a two ball squeezed in between two 3 balls but the pace was very good. Bit of traffic at the tenth so we joined up with the group ahead who had become a two ball, they were excellent company
Bag drop not particularly friendly but that said , it was the only very minor down side, we had a wonderful round of golf on a great course

Course was in excellent condition, greens very true and fast. Starter was very thorough in relation to keeping a good pace going.. Bag drop friendly before and after. Layout very good and we played on a clear sunny crisp day which gave the course a great look. Great course and good value for money , think this is our favourite course on HH for the money

The layout is championship class, however the surroundings , paths and tees , are a little tired to say the least. The greens on the back 9 are far superior to the front nine, not sure if they have been relaid but they were excellent and fast and true. No starter and we weren't aware, despite going to the pro shop, until another player playing Cupp course told us; we weren't sure if we had been paired up or not. We were a two ball and we flew round in around 3 hours 20. My overall impression was this could or just has been a great course. Loved the narrow landing areas from the drive and the water added an interesting element. Overall a very enjoyable round of golf and would play here again
