I gave the conditions and value the ratings that I did because greens were recently aerated and were virtually covered with sand. The reservation was made on line thru TeeOff and , of course, no mention was made about the greens condition.

Many of tee boxes a little rough, fairways were generally very good, the greens were excellent and probably some of the best greens I’ve seen on any course all year.

The 4 star rating I gave is probably more than the course deserves because of condition issues. I gave that rating because this is such a nice course to play and I keep hoping that the owners will wake up some day and realize what a gem they have and do what is needed to make it the first call course it can be.
Just the rains we had the past few weeks has improved things greatly, the fairways are green and the greens are looking good. Of course all the rain in the world won’t help the traps, that will take money.

Realize the time of the year doesn’t bode well for good course conditions; but if you are going to charge in season rates then conditions should be better. Debris on the course and poor trap conditions have little to do with time of the year and more to do with routine maintenance. If time of the year precludes proper maintenance, then rates should reflect that.
I have played this course in the past and will play it again. When conditions are better it is enjoyable to play.

Have played this course before and slow play is common. They need bring back a thing from the past, “ RANGERS “ to keep play moving at a reasonable pace.
West/North at Elmridge Golf Club

We were the first group behind an outing of 10 groups of 4 players in each group. Neither TeeOff booking or the course informed us of this situation. After 4 hours of play we had only gotten to the 13 hole and couldn’t take the aggravation anymore so we quit. Before our money was taken we should have been informed of the situation. We had a beautiful day ruined and certainly didn’t receive value for our money.
