Eagles Landing

This course is always in great shape. It was cart path only due to recent heavy rain but the course was still close to perfect.

You get what you pay for....

Play this course with low expectations and you just might decide to go back. The greens are bumpy and bare in areas. The fairways are about 50% decent and 50% dirt and weeds. You cannot play the ball down, you have to "noodle it" to find something that resembles grass at times. Most tee boxes were decent. What shines throughout the round is the quality of the layout. RTJ's design is apparent everywhere. If this course was properly maintained it would be one of the finest in the area.

This course is Very Nice

Tee to green this course is one of the nicest that my wife and I have played in the Ft. Myers/Cape Coral area. Tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens are all in really nice shape. My index is 13 and I played from the #2 tee's which provided a very challenging test of golf. There are some excellent, interesting holes which will require forced carries and target golf. Any price less than $50 is a good bargin.

Golf - 3 nines all pretty similar. Tee boxes and fairways a little shabby, greens were in excellent shape. Hey, for $25 it's a good deal. Don't pay a whole lot more!
Facilities - The Sandpiper Grille and Bunkers (like a grille room) are both very nice. Pleasant surroundings and friendly staff make the end of round experience worth staying.

Wanna Be Course

My wife and I played this course April, 2014 and overall enjoyed the experience. The course is a nice layout with some challenging but fair holes. We played on a quiet Wednesday afternoon and pace of play was excellent. Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape. Greens were spotty with areas of fungus on most. The rough was real rough particularly around the greens, most of the fringes were thick and green. We did not eat there, but the beer was cold and "Nita" was a friendly and excellent barmaid.

Lovely Golf Course

My wife and I played ML on a windy but warm afternoon. The course is beautiful and challenging. We played for $40/ea which is a steal for this course. One of the nicest that we have played in the Ft. Myers area this spring. Tees to greens, fairways and roughs all immaculate and in great condition. We did not eat there but the clubhouse and pro shop are first class. This is a top shelf country club "for a day" experience. Play it, you'll agree.

Average at best

My wife and I have played PPGC twice in the past two weeks. The clubhouse and staff are nice and this was probably a very nice CC in it's day. There is a decent driving range and putting green. The course condition is average. There's some challenging holes and overall a nice layout. The greens are hard and fast, a little spotty in places. The fairway grass is tight with some bare spots here and there. The rough is very ROUGH, bare hardpan in spots. Pace of play was just over 4 hours each time. Don't pay more than $45, $30 would be the better rate.
