Butternut Hills Golf Club
Played On 10/23/2017Butternut
Short course, par 70 5600 yds. Postage stamp greens that are soft and slower than average. Tees, fairways and rough were all adequately maintained, but far from championship level. Bunkers need tic. Staff very friendly and clubhouse was unique log style building. Butternut would be a good beginners course, imo.
The Jewel Golf Club
Played On 06/08/2017Mn Nat'l
A beautifully designed and maintained course. 5 sets of tees measuring over 7,000 from blacks. Ample bunkering, smooth and quick greens, fescue, water hazards etc. A true and fair test of a golfers abilities.
Minnesota National Golf Course - Championship Course
Played On 05/18/2016MN Nat'l
One of the best courses in the northern MN. 5 sets of tees, many forced carries, ample bunkers, wonderful scenery etc. Greens can be a bit slow early season, but overall no complaints. Large clubhouse with all amenities as well.
Hayward National Golf Club
Played On 08/05/2014Should be Hayward Muni not Nat'l
Overall course conditions were average. Some strange hole designs with doglegs and odd tree placements. A standard resort/muni type course that could use some tlc and a couple hole renovations.
Executive at Ridgewood Golf Course

Some holes are a bit quirky with trees and severe dog legs. Some greens are small and crowned, but overall course condition was good.
