Dell Urich at Randolph Golf Course

Dell Urich is a fun track. When the course us in good shape, it’s really fun to play. The newly revitalized fairways will propel this course into a top tier course in Tucson. If the management group would pay attention to the little details, reseed numerous dirt areas, it would be a joy to play.

I play this courts quite often. It’s always in great condition. I would say, though, it is not a course for beginners.

I can remember how well conditioned Dell Urich was when the LPGA played a tour stop there. Not since the LPGA left have I seen it as close to that playing condition as I saw it on Dec. 6, 2014. it's not quite as manicured as it can be, but it's getting there. Kudos to the new management company which clearly understands what their product is. Great service, a nicely conditioned course, and a staff who really appreciates your patronage!
San Ignacio Golf Club
Played On 11/14/2013This course is struggling. The physical condition is poor. The general maintenance is very poor. I'd save my $
This golf course has gone through numerous ownership changes and it has not weathered the economic downturn. The physical condition is just plainly dire. It is certainly understandable to reserve water, but the issue here is that the golf course normally requires a golfer to be more accurate in all shots because of narrow fairways and small green complexes. When the rough is no longer watered, the average golfer will be frustrated because errant shots are severely penalized by the hard-pan, no water conditions. This course is great for the golfer who only hits it 175 yards off the tee and hits their irons less than 100 yards and straight down the fairway.
