Great to see this course taken care of

This course had fallen on bad times under previous ownership in the past but has made a great recovery. The greens are rolling very true and they have restored most of the bunkers that were left for waste. The course provides a challenge for lower handicap players but isn't unfair in anyway. I will be playing this course more often this season

Short course, Very Fun to play.

Wesburn is a great older course which is over 100 years old but is still relavant with added length, The course still only plays about 6,100 yds but can be tougher if you miss the tiny greens which were in very good condtion. This isn't a course I would play every day but it's a great change of pace the staff is very friendly and we played as a twosome in under 3 hours on a weekday afternoon.

First Time Playing

Hit the ball straight off the tee, lots of blind shots.

First time playing the course and it can be very visually intimidating off the tee. Many blind tee shots that require less then driver if you hit it over 230-250 off the tee. The condition of the course was very good and the greens were rolling great. Much different from many of the flat courses of the downriver area. If you can't hit it straight it can be a very long day. The only complaint is that some of the trees/native grasses are overgrown and the course would be more playable in spots if it was cut down.

Great Layout, greens were awful

Having heard great things about this course I decided to drive over an hour to play Moose Ridge for the first time. The course layout itself was great and very difficult unless you hit the ball in the fairway. The day I played the greens had been Aerated the previous day and were in awful shape. There were very large punch marks and when they topdressed them the sand was not spread evenly causing some portions of the greens to play much slower then others. I will be playing the course again in the future and hopefully the greens are much better.

Great Shape, do not miss the fairways.

I've played this course over 20 times in the past few years and it is a very good value for the price. The course is always in very good condition with greens that roll true. The greens however are very springy and approach shots even with short clubs can bounce many feet in the air and over greens even when wet. The course plays very tight and missing a fairway usually means a lost ball in woods or native grasses/marshland.

Hole #11 is the signature hole on the course and plays about 430 from the back tees and is a dogleg left par 4 with trees on either side and a creek which fronts a very undulating green.

Very Challenging, Accuracy off the tee is a must

Probably the nicest of the Arthur Hills designs in the area, Stonebridge is a very difficult course in which accuracy off the tee is a key. Many holes dogleg around hazards and Out of Bounds is in play on many holes with the proximity to houses. The course is always in very good shape but the last time I played it seemed overwatered as the course was very wet despite the area having no rain in the past 5 days. The greens are usually in good shape but run a tad slower then most other courses in the area and could use another foot or two of speed added.
