North Shore Golf Course
Played On 04/15/2024Very well maintained
This Course reminded me of Westchase in Tampa and a little like Big Cypress in Lakeland. It was very well maintained with perfect greens and some challenging shots into the greens. You must know where to land the ball from the tee on several tee boxes ( not sure which ones ) or you could be surprised to fish your ball out of a lake. Overall, a really nice track and believe I prefer this over Eagle Creek just a fer miles away.

THE RAIN ( SOGGY IN SPOTS ) MADE THIS TREE-LINED COURSE PLAY PRETTY DIFFICULT. I REALLY LIKE THE LAYOUT. IF YOU CAN SCORE HERE, YOU CAN SCORE AT ANY COURSE. GREENS ARE A LITTLE SLOW, BUT OVERALL A REALLY GOOD VALUE.
I WILL PLAY AGAIN.

had a foursome with some old high school buddies.
We had a great time and the course was better than anticipated with tree-lined fairways that required three wood instead of driver from the blue tee boxes.

THE STAFF AND EVERYTHING WERE REALLY NICE.
GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY AND THE ONLY FAULT WAS THAT THE GREENS WERE A LITTLE SLOW, BUT THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS JUST REALLY FUN.
BIG FAIRWAYS AND ENDS WITH TWO PAR 5'S. !! ( 17 & 18 ) A CHANCE TO GET ONE OR TWO BACK THAT GOT AWAY EARLIER.

The driving range, chipping and putting area are right up there with any CC in central Florida.
The wind on this course can make it a completely different experience due to the fact that their are not many trees, ( winds affect this course more than most ) so you better understand proper club selection. I love it.
The par 5 # 18 is a nice finishing hole that could put a smile on your face as it permits when playing smart, a reasonable par and birdie opportunities as most should be on GIR. Staff always great.
My only beef would be I wish a reasonable membership was available ( like Southern Dunes ) for Fla. residents not living in Neighborhood.
