Greens were in very good condition. Fairways are getting thin. One of the more enjoyable municipal courses in Manatee country.

We played on a very windy day which meant scoring became a challenge. Interesting variety of holes, even though yardage is less than 5000 yards off white tees. Water is in play on 15 or the 18 holes. Greens were in good shape. Will return to play again.

Hadn't golfed there for a few years. Enjoyable course. Will plan to return.

My game was off on this day, but not a fault of the golf course. The fairways had a good amount of grass, could play the ball as it lies. The greens had some bad spots that were being attended to by the staff. Didn't really affect play, but the roll of the greens didn't seem quite true. Course meanders around so you aren't going out in one direction and coming in from another. Nice feature to break up the playability on a windy day. Staff was very cordial, had no issues with our Golf Now receipt. Overall, would be willing to return, not sure if winter rates are good value, but the Golf Now promotion made it a decent deal.

We played after heavy rain, but didn't impact this review. Several fairways sparse on grass. Lot of sandy lies. Several greens had bare spots. Greens putted slow, but that was ok. Staff was friendly, no issues there. Course is currently over-rated. If you don't play ball where it lies and willing to move to turf, might be ok to play there; especially if you find a reduced rate.

Friend and I played with special coupons at a good price. Otherwise green fees are higher than average for this area. Played white tees at 6000+ yards. Very wet, so course played long. You have to hit ball long on some holes to be aligned with doglegs or forced carries. Course was fair and interesting. Greens were in very good condition. Fairways for most part were fairly good. Too far in the rough, to bad! If you're a straight hitter, water probably doesn't come into play, but length is a factor. You must ride; some tees are very long distances from last green.

Played after heavy rainfall, course was soggy, carts on line. Due to wetness, course played long. Fairways in good condition, not many bare spots. Greens in reasonably good shape, putted well. Course has a little personality. There water, marshland, and sand to hit into. Lost 2 balls which is more than usual. Will return.

3 sets of tees plus women's. Approach shots require carry over sand traps. Course seems to play longer than yardage indicates. Greens were fast and in good condition. Typical Florida course were fair amount of water. Challenging course, would play again.

Fairway and green in very good shape. Some sparse spots on greens but not enough to affect play. Some fairways on bad 9 had dying grass but turf was good enough not to affect play. Enjoyed the lay out and will return. I was playing way over my head (even par after 12 holes) when steady rain came. Wasn't the course's fault (obviously) and still finished with a decent score, but bogged too many finishing.
