First time playing the course. Very firm conditions. Placement is key. I’m a 4 hcp who hits the ball pretty far. Lots of irons off tees. Greens were very fast downhill down grain. I’d play again

This course is in pristine condition. Very pleasantly surprised by that. Pace for a weekday midday was a bit troubling, over 4 hours. Price….meh thought I paid a lot for a course where I was concerned about hitting someone’s house off of a number of tees (before you judge, I’m a 5 hcp). Played the back tees. Hit 3 drivers, should have only hit driver twice. That’s not a knock on the course, it’s just pretty tight. If you know going into the round that it is basically in a neighborhood you will have the appropriate expectations.

If you want to score, play a tee box up from your usual. Or you can be like me and play the tips, yikes.

The front 9 is solid. Nothing terribly memorable but very solid design that is a stern test. It helps to know what is “around the corner” on a couple holes. Drastically changes your lines from tees.

The back 9 is awesome! One hole I didn’t like, #14. A 520 yard par 5 from tips BUT is ALL UPHILL. that’s not the issue though. There is an unseen from the approach false front on this green that is just ridiculous. Gimmicky. Everything else is well thought out though!!

I booked this round last minute and I’m sure glad I did! The layout is great, definitely a “second shot” course as there is plenty of room in the fairways. Some really interesting history on the course as well. Be prepared to have NO CELLPHONE reception, which was just what the doctor ordered!

My only issue is the greens. They were a bit slow for an upper tier course in my opinion. Otherwise the course is in IMMACULATE condition!! Highly recommend

First time playing here during the winter. Greens are fair; not what I would expect for this course given my past experiences. Pace was slow on back 9 on a Monday.

This is one of my favorites in Central Florida. Course is in great shape; greens were quick and true. Can’t beat the deal if you’re an Orange County resident.

Nice to play a course without houses on either side of the fairway. Only drawback was greens had recently been punched. Good day

This used to be Remington Golf Club. I played it about 6 years ago....hated it and swore I’d never be back. Saw the reviews on here and gave it a shot. Wow. Greens are really good. Bunkers are the best set in Central Florida right now condition wise. Still a few things not quite ready (9th green still closed...but looked almost ready). I would play again and if y’all want this place to survive consider playing soon.

Greens were very rough. Played back tees; all tee boxes were burnt out. It’s a shame

For a Pete Dye course this is a very fair test. Everything is straightforward. Pace of play was abysmal considering an afternoon round during the week (over 4 1/2 hours). Greens were the best part of the course. Lightning fast and true.

The ratings in my review in total may be a bit harsh. The course is really in decent shape, the fairways are lush and the bunkers fair. However, the greens are terrible!! I really hope they can fix it, because it is a good track.

Disclaimer; I live 10 minutes from this resort but have avoided it for 4 years because each time I played the course it was overbooked and overrun with TERRIBLE golfers.

This time was different...it was overbooked with hackers AND in less than stellar condition given the price. We've had a good winter here for growing and there are brown outs on the greens? Unacceptable.

When I pull in and have bag staff be downright rude that also leaves a poor taste in ones mouth.

Easily the best conditioned course I have played in Florida. It is pricey, but that limits # of rounds enhancing pace of play.
