Cold Spring Country Club
Played On 11/03/2022November Golf
Went to Cold Spring on November 3 Rd. Weather was fantastic, conditions of the course we're great. Fairways green and cut. Greens we're fast all consistent.
Best conditions I have ever seen there. Some funky golf holes , but a god course to play. Would recommend to play.
Ledges Golf Club
Played On 09/12/2022Great day for golf
I have been to the Ledges numerous times and never fails. Despite a ongoing severe drought in Western Ma the course is in excellent shape, the greens, fairways and tee boxes all in great shape.
Looking forward to going back in the near future.
The Ranch Golf Club
Played On 04/09/2021First time out Spring 2021
Booked my tee time with Golf Now, weather was warm, light breeze. Greeted by staff by picking up my clubs at my car. Fairways were in great shape. Greens we're fast in the morning and got faster in the afternoon.
Best round in a while, weather was perfect for a early April day.. Course has matured over years and it's getting better with age. Will be back again.

Hickory Ridge Golf Club
Played On 11/01/2017Nov. 1st golf
Considering the course received 7 inches of rain last 6 days it was decent. Back nine was only for walking. Very wet condition's and cold and raw. Greens were in good shape, fairways were wet. Lift and place was best way to play. The course is great with good conditions

The Ranch Golf Club
Played On 10/02/2017Great day for fall golf
Was matched up with 3 other golfers, the weather was 70 degrees clear with a 10-15 mph breeze. The course was in perfect shape, fairways cut short and pristine, the rough had been cut but was still high. The greens lighting fast, shots would hold on the green but it was quick.
Precision shot making is a must on some holes or you will pay a price, good shots great scoring opportunities.
One of guys we played with was -1 on the front nine, the rest of us finished 38, 41, & 44. on the front nine. The back nine we hit a roadblock and play was slowed down quite a bit, and it took the edge off everyone's game, As scores went up,
If you play this course for the first time it would help to use GPS and a local who has played there before, The staff was great, Bonnie the beverage cart server is great. A must play if you like private country club conditions at a good price.
Oak Ridge Golf Club
Played On 09/23/2015Great day for fall golf
Took my son to play Oak Ridge for the first time, my first time back here in 15 years! Course still good and challenging. The greens were slower this time, in the past they were lighting quick.
Pace of play was good, weather good, and staff friendly. Some holes they were thatching the fairways but it did not bother the game. A must play course when in Feeding Hills. Will be going back!
Agawam Municipal Golf Course
Played On 07/02/2014A day of golf at Agawam Municipal Golf Course
My youngest son and I played Agawam muni on a hot and humid day. There was an ample breeze though. We were able to tee off early before our scheduled tee time. The fairways were green, the greens were in great shape, although some greens were slow due to ongoing watering during the day.
It was in great shape, the City of Agawam has done a great job keeping this course in good shape. Although not long, the back nine is tighter than the front nine. It is a great course for beginners, juniors and seniors. We both enjoyed it and will be back.
Mount Snow Golf Club
Played On 06/17/2014A day at Mount Snow Golf Course
My oldest son and myself took advantage of a great deal to play Mount Snow golf course. The weather was perfect 80 degrees with a slight breeze and abundant sunshine. We were greeted by a very friendly cart girl who took our clubs and moved our cart while we checked in.
We proceeded to the first tee and started our round, the fairways were cut low, plenty of green no browning, the course was a little damp due to the heavy rains the week before. The only problem was that the second hole which is a par 5 was a par 4 with a temp green, about 40 yards down was a temp tee box of 150 yards to the real green. Hole 2 was playing a par 4 and par 3. The third hole was closed possibly from ice and snow damage over the past winter the green was growing slowly back to maturity.
Other than that we had a great round, the greens are massive so shot selection to the greens should be precise. We played in less that 3.5 hours had the course to ourselves. We will be back.
Cold Spring Country Club
Played On 08/06/2013Bring your "A" game
I finally got to play Cold Spring Golf Course, when I arrived a very friendly staff member greeted me at my car and took my clubs and put them on the cart. I went inside to check in and was asked if I had played this course and I said no. The staff proceeded to tell me to prepare for a great round.
As I went to get going I was offered free bottled water upon my departure to the first tee, and the staff member said use a 3 wood off the tee. I got to the first tee and pulled out my 3 wood and hit a monster drive which I was not prepared for. I should have used a 5 wood.
The tee boxes were a bit beat up, especially the white tee boxes, they need water and more time to mature. Some parts of fairways showed heat stress and lack of water. The fairways were cut short like the PGA Tour.
The fairways on the front nine tight and keep it in play, one bad tee shot and you will pay for it.
The greens, WOW!!!! PGA speed greens, cut short and very fast!!!! the cup cuts were sharp so if your putt nears the edge its not going in. I was impressed every green was the same very fast and true. Some of the best greens I have ever played.
The back nine is more forgiving, although the 11th hole has warning signs of both sides warning of POISON IVY!!! very thoughtful. The course is hilly and challenging you will need the cart if you walk good luck. I will go back and play this course, the views on the 10th hole are spectacular.
Twisted Dune Golf Club
Played On 6/26/2013The course was in great condition
Had a afternoon tee time, the weather was warm and breezy. The course was in great shape, the fairways crisp despite the amount of play it has received. The fairways let the ball roll along, the greens were in superb condition and held my shots on green, they were fast and true on all greens. Played the front nine in an hour and a half, the back nine was slooooooow!!! a foursome who had no business being out there held everyone up. It was a joke no rangers around to speed them up.
Besides the slow play I will be back to play, when I come down to Somers Point in the fall. A must course to play, although you need to think your tee shots out, no trees but lots of dunes and mounds with high grass everywhere. Target golf off the tees, wind does play a factor risk and reward.
Hickory Ridge Golf Club
Played On 5/30/2013Great Semi-Private Course
My son and I played Hickory Ridge on a hot afternoon. The course was wet due to all the rain in the past week. The course is prone to flooding since a small river meanders around the course. The fairways were cut but could not get a good shot off due to the wetness of the fairways. When the course is dry it is a great course, some good challenging holes its somewhat tight fairways make you think your shot ahead especially off the tees.
I would go back when drier conditions exist, the greens are fast and true, despite being wet. The water stations could use cold water instead of lukewarm water. But for the price I can not complain, I would not pay full price though.
Westover Golf Club
Played On 10/16/2012Greens
The greens were in superb condition, every green was the same. This is the first time I have played Westover in 10 years sine I just moved back into the area. The greens were quick and responsive. Some fairways were roped off from carts to preserve the wear and tear the course took during the summer I guess. Wil be back!!
Ledges Golf Club
Played On 8/12/2012Great course to play
course was wet but well drained, greens a little slow usually real fast.
