Galleon/Brigantine at Shipyard Golf Club
Played On 02/19/2017Shipyard Galleon Brigantine
Played this course in Feb '17. The course was in very good shape and the greens were fast and true. The course is somewhat forgiving compared to some others but presented plenty of challenges for my game. The pace on the front 9 was slow due to a couple of slow groups right in front of us. The marshal was attentive to the situation. We were supposed to play Galleon - Clipper, but due to the pace in front of us he moved us to Brigantine for our back nine. That 9 was virtually empty and we had the course to ourselves. Due to this I've rated the pace at a 4 (would've been 2 or 3 otherwise). The marshal's help earned a 5 for staff friendliness. Loved the course and would definitely play it again.
Robber's Row at Port Royal Golf Club
Played On 02/18/2017Port Royal Robbers Row
Played this course in February '17. You can see some remaining tree damage from the Oct '16 hurricane. The bridge on 17 had to be replaced and is brand new. The course was in good shape. The new greens are fast and excellent. The layout is fairly wide open with a few challenges sprinkled in. Enjoyed our round and would play it again.

A nice course for the money in decent shape. We had an early afternoon tee time and the pace was good. The greens seemed a bit slow to me but overall I liked the course and would play there again.

This is a very nice little par 60 executive course. The layout is interesting with some challenging holes. Although the greens seemed a little slow to me, they were in great shape, as was the rest of the course. The staff there was extremely helpful and friendly. We did have to wait on a few tees but the overall pace was acceptable. My wife and I had an enjoyable afternoon and we will play there when we visit this area again.
