This course is fun with challenges and it's maybe the best valued course that you can play. The green conditions are good but the speed is a little too slow for me.

Compared to the last time I played here about a month ago, I see the green conditions deteriorate with some patches of weeds. However, the greens still run true and fast. I hope the management team does not turn this course into a mediocre one.

We played the Champions course after a few days of rain. The course is kind of wet but it's well-kept with only 4 cart-path holes. The course is in very good shape with a new clubhouse, new tee boxes, and white sand bunkers. The green conditions are very good except that it's kind of slow for me. The layouts are interesting with many strategic doglegs. The pace of playing is SLOW. Anyway, this is a very good course to play after its recent renovations.

Needless to say more, it's a very good course and it's very popular among snowbirds. This may be the only course that offers complimentary alcoholic drinks on the course. The pace of play may be very slow.

Everything is outdated here. It's a 3 9-hole course with narrow fairways and plenty of water hazards. The green conditions are OK with some patches of weeds and the speeds are average. Ant mounds are everywhere throughout the course. These ants can sting you very badly if you step on one of the mounds. Ask me how I know it. This could be a painful course for those who have accuracy issues.

The overall course condition is getting better although I prefer the greens to be faster.

I was so disappointed! I called the pro shop prior to making a reservation about the course conditions. I asked the lady if the greens were punched recently. She told me that they haven't done anything since August. She said everything is fine and there is no complaints whatsoever. In reality, the greens have plenty of holes from a recent aerification ( punched about 2 weeks ago). Some fairways were also punched. The greens are so bumpy and slow. In addition to the holes and sands on the greens, the grass is long due to no mowing. Also, the fairway grass does not get mowed either. I specifically asked about the greens and she actually lied to me. How can you run a business by lying to your clients? I understand that the course needs maintenance, especially during the summer. Can't you guys be honest about the course conditions? This is very bad management and very short-sighted.

I am not sure why other reviewers gave a 1-star to this course. It definitely deserves at least a 4-star. The greens are still one of the fastest in the tri-county with plenty of undulations. Yes, there are some dead spots but they don't affect having fun on this course. The greens can get much better if the players can help to fix some of the ball marks. It's a rule of thumb for anyone to fix his/her own ball mark plus at least one or two of others. The tee boxes and fairways have improved a lot and continue to get better.

One of the top public golf courses in the area. It's not a difficult course but there are a few interesting holes such as #7, #17, etc. The fairways are forgiven with big, smooth, fast greens on some undulations. The elevated fairway bunkers make some of the holes interesting since the fairways appear as blind spots. The overall condition of the course is very good. The big, old, mushroom-like oak trees help to beautify the whole golf course. It's a pricey course to play without a complementary range.

If you want fun, challenges, and to know how good your game is, this course is for you. There are still some improvements need to be made but the course is getting much better. The negatives do not affect your play at all. I think this course has everything a golfer wants plus it's maybe the best value in town.

It's a fun and challenging course with views of Key Biscayne. There are some forced longs and strategic dogleg shots. The greens are small with very good speed and plenty of undulations. The fairways are the worst parts of the course since they are very rough and yellowish, probably due to a recent punch. Luckily, we didn't see a mosquito issue as other reviewers mentioned and the staff treated us well. With a $110 price tag during the summer, I think it's very overprice given its overall conditions and no complimentary of the range. There are much better courses in S Florida with reasonable green fees. I would come back to play it if I can get a better green fee before the summer ends.

Well-conditioned and maintained golf course in a retirement community. It only opens to the public during the summer period. The back tee is only about 6500 yards with elevated greens. It's not a hard course to play hence a good one to practice your game. Highly recommended!

I played the Woodlands course. It's absolutely beautiful! The overall conditions are very good except 1 or 2 tee boxes need some improvements. Like other GA courses in the area, the undulating greens are soft and smooth but a little too slow. I am not sure why they don't make the beautiful greens faster to increase the level of fun and challenges. Given the softness of the greens, it's easy to make a big ball mark, players should fix their ball marks. The course also gives a preview of the beautiful big houses surrounding the course. A recommendation for playing the GA (or mountainous) courses is to have a range finder with the slope feature; otherwise, you will struggle with estimating the approach shot distances---ask me how I know about this.

It's a good and fun course to play. Undulating greens with very good speed. Some tee boxes and sections of the fairways need improvements. These negatives do not affect the playability and the challenges the course offers.
