Rancho Bernardo Inn
Played On 04/14/2017RB Inn Fun
The golf course was in good shape, even though the greens were aerated 9-10 days prior to the round. Staff was friendly. Beautiful day. Pace of play was four hours for a foursome. Price was reduced - good value. Cannot hit a driver on the range if you hit more than 240 yards. Layout is a bit confusing for first timers. We started on the back nine. The 19th hole was only ok. Give it a try.
Mt. Woodson Golf Club

Fun challenging course set up as links course. Lots of carry's off the teeboxes, picturesque travels between holes, course will keep you on your toes. Not long in yardage, but takes good course management. Worth the price!
Pala Mesa Resort
Played On 11/20/2014Fast &Frious
The course was in good condition. The greens super fast. The pin positions brutal. The foursome I had played 18 in 4 hours and ten minutes. Started a little slow, but eased up as the round went on. There were a few bare s[pots, but when you have a drought extending three years, what can you expect? Good time had by all. Challenging greens and pins. Have fun and golf there.
Lomas Santa Fe Executive Golf Course
Played On 7/31/2013This executive course is great for the short game.
The course is in really good shape. Good value. Can be challenging, if you don't hit the greens. Only two par 4 holes.
Fun, short course.
Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club
Played On 2/7/2013The course is moderately difficult with some challenging holes.
Carmel Mtn Ranch golf course plays like two different courses in one. The front nine, plays like a normal golf course with moderately difficult holes, rolling fairways and numerous sand traps. The back nine plays like a links course with two holes with water hazards, greens surrounded with sand traps and longer distances. The winter playing conditions were rough with the grass dormant, dirt plentiful and some greens being re-sodded. Also entire course was being fertilized during play. Challenging and fun.
Native Oaks Golf Club
Played On 1/9/2013The course is a moderate challenging oak tree lined course.
Castle Creek is an old established course with lots of oak trees lining the wholes. The greens are in good shape compared to last year. At this time most of the bermuda grass fairways are dormant and brown. The course and clubhouse need some maintenance and renovation. The snackbar is adequate. The cost is a value.
