This is the perfect beginner course or if you want to work on your short game.

The course was in great shape. We had beautiful weather. To bad it was ruined by slow play and a complete lack of respect for the facility by the players. The greens were in good shape other than I was having to replace 2-4 ball marks on every green other than my own. Anyone that has played this course knows how the golf carts slow to a crawl on the downhill portions of the cart paths. Well someone in the group in front of us still managed to run a cart off of the side of the hill and into a tree. Our round time came in at 5 1/2 hours. We had up to four groups on one hole. When I asked the groups what the holdup is, I did not get a response due to a language barrier.

It took three hours to play 11 holes with playing thru one group. That group also came back on one hole then hit my ball. They then tried to play it off like it was not my ball till I demanded to see the ball in his hand. The course has way to many blind shots off of the tee. The course condition is what I expected for a publicly owned course. The staff was great.

Greens did not putt true. Patchy fairways. To bad because I really like this course. I got what I paid for at $20 so I feel the experience this time around was fair.

If you are looking for a nice enjoyable round with natural beautiful scenery. This is your course.

This is one of my favorite courses in the area. Unfortunately, it is in the worst shape I have ever seen it.

This is a nice course. Off the tee it is not difficult at all. Where it will bit you is where you put the ball on the green on your approach shots! Or if you miss the green in the wrong spot.

Nice layout. You should hit just about every club in the bag which I consider a good course design. This course is as good as the condition they keep it in. My only complaint is the carts are trash. The green fees are appropriate. The Chino Creek side is way better than the Butterfield side!! I will be back.

You could play this course with three irons a 3 wood and a putter. They have tried to pack 18 holes into to little of land. It has patchy hard pan everywhere. The water never really comes into play. The greens are not difficult to read. I will not be back.

This is a good practice round course. It is a nice layout with actual thought put into the design. It is not in the best of condition with patchy grass and no sand in the bunkers. The pace of play has been great. The staff is friendly. This course in my opinion is a Golf Now course meaning that it is a good value through GN ($9-$13). If I had to pay rack rate to play, they would never see me again!!

This course is as good as the owners want it to be. Great layout with a lot of elevation change. Mature tree lined fairways that are spaced enough that you can go over if need be. They also do a good job of shielding the houses. Tee boxes needed to be mowed. The fairways were in nice shape. The greens are good but needed to be mowed. The staff in both the shop and grill were inviting. Definitely will be back to play this one.

If you live close and want to get some on course work in fine. But not worth traveling for, no matter the green fee! The course is in bad shape. Two of the greens on the back side were not even puttable. I would never pay more than $18 to play this course in it's current condition.

This was a nice enjoyable course. It has heavily tree lined fairways all the way around. So as long as you are hitting fairways you will do fine. The greens are not difficult. My only complaint was that the greens were not in the best of shape at this time.
