River Oaks Golf Club

While in Myrtle Beach we played five courses and the greens at River Oaks was the best of the lot.
Byrd at Sea Trail Golf Resort and Convention Center
Played On 10/19/2023Nice course BUT somewhat disappointed
We travelled from Canada (18 hr drive) to play golf in Myrtle mainly to play golf and enjoy the weather and amenities.
We enjoyed the Byrd course BUT were disappointed that the greens were covered with bits of leaves and pine needles etc and it would have been more enjoyable if a grounds keeper could have taken the time to blow greens of impediments which would have only been a few minutes per green. That being the case we are reluctant to play the other Sea Trail courses.
Sandpiper Bay Golf & Country Club - Sand Nine

this is a course that all women would like as there are no challenging hazards to carry.. The fairways were in perfect condition and was a fun to play course.
The Pearl Golf Links - West Course

My wife and I played this course 20 years old ago. We played it again for old time sake and was very pleased with the game the layout and condition. We would certainly play it agains.

pleasantly suprised at the quality of the course for what we paid ($18) on Golf Now. My wife and I enjoyed the play even though the course was somewhat wet after Irma partially hit the area a week before,

Enjoyed what we played which was the back nine as the front nine was being aerated. It is a more difficult for ladies who do not hit a long ball as some of the carries over water are quite long. Would play the course again but would want to play the whole course.

Indigo Creek Golf Club

For a golf mecca that Myrtle Beach is, Indigo looks neglected. An interesting course with shots that need to be place to avoid trouble. The course was not well manicured as I would expect MB to be. The weather was good but the course was cart path only as the fairways were very spongy all over. Nearly all shots plugged ( no roll) but was not the fault of the course. Overall giving forgiveness for the weather we will not go back again.
