River Ridge Golf Club - The Vineyard Course
Played On 06/14/2020Great Experience
Had a 1:20pm tee time. Round went really fast but I am sure that’s due to the COVID situation. There weren’t really all that many golfers when we teed off. I got to the course at 12:00pm and noticed the parking lot was practically full. I bet the mornings are busy.
Staff was really friendly. No meals or drinks are being served except for what’s on the tables (candy bars and chips) and what’s in the cooler (white claw, Gatorade, water).
New to the area and I will definitely be back here for more golf.
Arizona National Golf Club

Any Arizona resident that plays golf year round like me can tell you that in the summer months, the courses around here can get pretty bad. Not Arizona National. They take very good care of their course, and it shows from tee-box to green, everything was great. The cart path is pretty bad in some spots with broken concrete/bumps, but it doesn't take away from the experience.
Myself and a buddy booked here at 1:15 for $36 and we were seriously the ONLY people on the course, never saw another soul, so it was nice.... obviously a little on the warm side, but the heat didn't bother us.
This is a must play course in Tucson. The views alone are worth the prices, especially hole 18. Hole 18 is one of the best I have ever seen. I would highly recommend this course.
Forty-Niner Country Club
Played On 05/10/2016Good all around course
This little course is great. Fairly easy. The summer months do terrible things to golf courses here in AZ, but the 49er CC does a decent job of maintaining it. I golf here the most out of any other course in Tucson because of the HotDeals and location to my house. I can play here for as low as $18 (18 w/cart) after 12pm on most summer days, can't beat that.
The Rincon Grill after a round has some good food. The wait staff can be a little on the rude side sometimes, but not to often.
If I need to get a last minute round in or just can't decide where to play in Tucson, I can always rely on the 49er CC for a good round.
North at Randolph Golf Course

For being a city course, this is probably the best in Tucson. I do have a caveat to this, for the price, you can play better courses. Hot deals are not all that great. But, for being a city course, it's pretty good. Really easy to play. Pretty flat greens, not a whole lot to this course, just a good course in the middle of the city. Check it out if you want, but you aren't missing anything if you don't.
Glad you had a great experience!
