Slow (1) & Slow (2)

(1) Teed off 15 minutes late, to begin with. Unfortunately, played in just a twosome, when everyone else was a foursome. 5:05 for the round. I HATE slow golf.

(2) The speed of the greens was SLOW. VERY SLOW. Not sure if the truth, but pro shop said the very next day was going to be their summer aerification.

On the bright side, it is a terrific layout, especially holes #13-15, as I recall. Very scenic, lots of red rock and clay everywhere. Never hit it into one of the 100+ bunkers on the course. Glad I didn't as they had red clay in them, no sand. While that made them visually appealing, my bet is that they would have been nigh on impossible to hit out of (quite deep, no sand).

Will not return

Could only book a 1:02 tee time. Of course, the course was packed and didn't get out until 1:30. Sunset at 5:25. You can predict the rest. I dislike paying top dollar and not being able to finish my round. They would be much better served to go to 10 minutes between starting times, instead of 7 minutes. That all being said, I liked the Arnold Palmer-designed layout. A good mixture of interesting holes.

One of my best golf experiences, EVER!

What fun! And, the closing stretch of 16-18 was awesome. Matter of fact, no. 18 is one of the best holes, ever, anywhere, and 16 was a hoot! My wife reminded me we played the course exactly one year ago today, Cinco de Mayo, 2019. Thanks for the memories!!

Great course

The Kalispel Tribe purchasing this property is the best thing that has happened to golf in Spokane in 50+ years. Great course, great amenities, reasonable price. We all couldn't say enough great things about the experience. Player tip: Strive for uphill putts :)

Great day

Have come down to the Peoria area for a 10-day golf getaway. Have payed a good bit more to play higher-rated courses, which are all just coming out of the autumn overseed. Aguila is OUTSTANDING. Tee boxes - great. Fairways - great. Greens -great. And the price, thanks to GolfNow, was terrific, too. So, if you are looking for a great experience within the next month, while all of the courses in the Phoenix area are healing up, and don't want to play cart-path only golf, take some advice and try AGUILA GC in Laveen. Guaranteed, you won't be disappointed.

Another fun time

The course is just coming out of its yearly over-seeding, so the greens are a bit slow, but this is one of our go-to courses.
Always a good time at Sundance.

Running fast

Closely mown fairways, quite quick greens, very acceptable over-all course conditions. THE best municipal course in the Phoenix area. Now, if only the sun would make a reappearance.

Westbrook Village Lakes course

We live on this course. The course was closed down from April through mid-November, 2015. They entirely re-did the irrigation system, sand traps & greens. The course is still healing some from the irrigation system re-build. That all being said, the course is in very good shape. I suspect by March, 2016, you would never know that it had been worked on so extensively.

Late Winter golf in Spokane

Hey, it's still the winter months here in the great
Northwest, yet I have already played a handful of times. Masters week-end is frequently my first rounds. The Fairways at West Terrace is in quite good
shape for this time of year. Greens aren't nearly as fast & true as they will be later in the season, but still
very good. Wishing some of the early season golfers
would do a better job of replacing divots in the fairways & even the rough. Traps are not good, they
definitely need some TLC, but OVERALL, for the time of year and the deals you can find on GolfNow, the course is very playable & enjoyable.

Mountain golf

Don't try to walk it, unless you are a goat :):)
The rough is unplayable in many places, large
rocks and such. Big breaks in the greens and extremely
fast for being at such an elevation. A really fun place to
play, though for the relatively inexperienced player, it
might be too much.
