Somerset Farms Golf Course
Played On 06/20/2021Hobbs Hole Golf Course
Played On 07/03/2020Another excellent round of golf
Second time in two weeks to play this course. Again a nice course to get your golf game moving forward. A few tees are challenging, but second shots on the par 4s can be 120-200 yards, so you can work on multiple irons during the round. Greens were fairly fast but challenging slopes and positions of flags makes you measure risk/reward. Very good course.
Broad Run Golf & Practice Facility
Played On 09/22/2019Nicely Laid out with full course distance
These 9 holes were challenging and fun. Reasonable slope on well maintained greens. Fairways accessible but distance control from blues required. Tips slightly better for 250-260 yard drivers. Long hitters will be challenged on two par 5s. Staff could not be more friendly. Easy 5 stars.
Longest Hole/Waterfall at Meadows Farms Golf Course
Played On 09/14/2019Very Interesting and challenging
Played Waterfall and Longest courses. Course layout very good, with reward for staying in fairway. Greens were a little wet so not a lot of roll out and plenty of mark repair to do. Greens were a four of five with good sloping but thin in a few places. No warning signs for pond on Longest hole, so know there is one at the dog leg right. Reasonable Saturday pace of play, weather overcast and no beating sun, fortunately. Staff friendliness is a six of five!
Augustine Golf Club
Played On 07/06/2019Nicely Laid out
Course was a good value. Driving range was okay, and staff was pretty friendly. Played with a young man who knew the course, Not well marked for yardages, bring your GPS, none on cart. Pretty good up and down fairways, good slope on greens. Plenty of water coolers on course, and restrooms each 9 holes. Liked it and will play it again.
Lake of the Woods Country Club
Played On 07/04/2019A little disappointed
Disappointed there was no driving range, so no warm up before play. Few on-course markers for distances. All yellow flags so not even basic front-to-back indication by flag color for pin location. Had to play as a single, as they oversold my tee time into a fivesome, but would not allow a fivesome on the course.
Some fairways are tight, and no indication of distances to doglegs, or traps.
Greens and fairways in good shape. No brown grass anywhere. The course is a solid four, but don't go without GPS!
Hobbs Hole Golf Course
Played On 06/08/2019good value, nice layout
First time at Hobbs Hole and it was great. Pacw of play very good because the fairways are open and we never lost a golf ball. Green were in great shape. Slightly fast but rolled smooth. Will drive 55 miles again. Driving range is grass, a real plus.
Stallion Mountain Golf Club
Played On 06/14/2018A Vegas Gem (but don't tell anyone who hates golfing)
First time there. Excellent range and practice facility. Staff was better than excellent- all smiles and all help.
Played one in from the tips. Not a flat course. Plenty of undulations, small hills, fairly placed traps. Greens were PHENOMENAL!. Smoothest rolling greens in Vegas. Slopes on all greens, and they held high shots well, and a nice challenging round. Don't expect to roll just any shot from the fairway up to these greens.
Revere Golf Club - Lexington Course
Played On 08/25/2017Love the verticality, but a total disappointment
From range to round completion (5+ hours), not good. 1.Every hole suffered from unrepaired ball marks and putter inflicted marks that on every hole affected putts. The practice putting greens were to die for- so the actual greens were a great disappointment. 2. The course, especially the back 9, was laid out incomprehensibly, and with no GPS or other information provided. From the gold tee box at 10th, there is no visible indication as to where to hit the ball: you hit blindly over desert terrain with no idea where the hole is. On several holes, from ground level center fairway, you can't see flags or green. This forced a lot of layup shots. The course seriously needs layout maps for most holes so you can see how the terrain lays out. Unless that changes I'll probably never play this course again.3. The sand traps are a joke. many were "caked and cracked" mud at the bottoms. 4. When we usually play, we visit the 19th hole for a beer. We had been there so long and were so disappointed we just went home.
Palm at Angel Park Golf Club
Played On 06/27/2015Course Fine, but not as advertised
Booked the tee time with a "cart, 18 holes, GPS" icons.
No GPS. Staff said the management company removed them all.
Almost ready to tee up on first tee when we realized we did not have a score card or pencil. Had to return to starter and ask for a score card.
Hello MikeTracy5. Thank you for taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass along your feedback in regards to GPS to the staff so they can work to make changes. Thanks for visiting us!
