Cypress Knoll Golf & Country Club
Played On 04/16/2021Much improved
Have played this course 5 times over last month. The greens are very fast. Fairways are dry so lots of roll. Condition of greens far better than other Palm Coast public courses. This course is much improved from previous years. Recommend playing.

Played On 06/30/2017New Mgt. sticking it to people that purchase Group Golfer Vouchers
My foursome purchased 2 months ago 12 Group Golfer Vouchers for this course. The price was good and there was no specific time of day they were effective only that they expired Sept. 15. Two weeks ago we booked a 7 am tee time and used vouchers to pay for the round. On June 30th, we booked a 7:04 tee time, showed up and while waiting to check in, the clerk said hope those are not Group Golfer Vouchers, we no longer accept them effective June 26, "under NEW OWNERS". The new rule is they can only be used for afternoon play. We were then told if not happy take it up with Group Golfer. After further discussion, the clerk said he would only charge us the afternoon rate but would not take the vouchers. The new owners have a lot to learn about working with the public and building relationships in business. Also if playing this course, do not plan to hit out of any sand traps unless you want to hit off hard pan.

Played On 05/30/2017Very Best Course in tri-county area
Played on May 30, 2017, greens are great, fairways, great and personnel are all great. The course will give you all you can handle, especially the greens. This course decided not to penalize Florida residents with high prices when all the Northern people come for the winter. Thank you Debary C. C.!

Played On 04/18/2017A must play course
Played the course on April 18, 2017. This is the best kept secret in the tri-county area. Fairways and greens will give you everything you are looking for. It is not your typical flat resort style course. It reminds you more of some of the Northern rolling type fairways with undulating greens. The bunkers are all playable and some are a little deep. The first hole is a par 5 and if you are unlucky and hit the bunker in the front, you will be in for a treat. Oh yes, unless you can spin or stick your approach shot, you maybe wise to miss the green on the right and hope you can chip with little roll. Do try this course, you will come back to it often. Oh by the way, when all the other local courses ran their stick it to them Northern Winter Rates, this course keep their rates reasonable.

Played On 12/13/2016BEST COURSE TO PLAY IN MIDDLE FLORIDA
This course is truly one that you need to play. This is not your flat resort type course. Every hole and green has character, rolling hills, elevated greens and deep bunkers. Not a lot of water or sand for that fact. If you want to play a course that reminds you of playing up North or the Monterey Coast, you have found it in Debary.

Played On 08/09/2016Worth playing
This course has improved greatly! Greens and fairways are in great shape. The sand traps still need improved, need more sand. We have played this course probably 20 times over the past couple of years and I can say it is now getting back to the great condition it was when it opened. Drainage after big rains is still a problem but all in all this course is a must to play.

Played On 04/10/2015Course needs a lot of work
We played the course on April 10 at 8:35 am. We have played the course several times before. We played in early February and the greens were sanded with a green coating, which we told was put on to kill off wild grass. We figured we would book again in April. To our surprise when we played this time, the greens had bare spots, areas where they were resodded. and the first par 3 was actually a temporary green. This is all understandable if there was a green problem, but when we made the reservation, or checked in, why didn't anyone tell us the condition of the greens and bunkers?

Played On 02/12/2015Still Struggling
The course is still struggling to become what it once was. The overall condition of the course shows signs of trying to improve but...... Increasing the green fees is not warranted unless trying to catch snowbirds that don't know about other courses in the area.

Played On 10/02/2014Much, Much Improved
Earlier this year the course was a big disappointment. It was recently purchased and it seemed the course up keep went down from then. Prior to that time, we felt it was on par with the LPGA but something happened and it became a course we took off the list of playing. We heard from other players the same evaluation. The previous time we played was in January so we decided to try it again yesterday Oct. 2. We can now report, the course is back to what it used to be and is a course we highly recommend. The only complanint we have is the new owners feel it necessary to over price a round of golf if you call the pro shop. Book on line and save alot of money but do play it at least once.
I had the same experience you did. My group also purchased many of these as well and was told when we checked in we could not use them. Very poor management decision. Golf is a gentleman's game based around trust and morels. Backing out of purchased coupons does not follow the gentleman's game. I wish Venetian Bay the best but I will not be returning until they reach out to me and make things right.
