Our tee time was delayed until 12:50pm due to a tournament going over. Not a big deal. What was frustrating was the pace of play. We waited on almost every the tee box and fairway with no ranger anywhere until the 12th hole and then really did nothing help things along after that. We were not able to finish our round due to loss of daylight. 5 1/2 hours and still didn’t finish. I haven’t played here in a while and I thought this round would be different, nope. This course is WAY too difficult for most golfers and when you don’t have ranger(s) moving things along, you will lose customers.

This course and Golfnow failed to inform before booking a tee time that they do NOT allow golfers to walk. I was approached by the starter on the first hole tee box and was told I can't walk. He or the guy that refunded my money in the pro shop did not apologize or seem to care that this ruined my morning and golf outing. I will not ever come back to this resort or recommend to anyone to go there.

I played here for the first time and the course was soggy and wet due to the rains the day before. Many of the bunkers were full of water and the fairways were spongy with some standing water. The cart paths were complete covered with gravel, sand and mud from washouts. The tunnel was full of soupy mud about 3/4 inch deep that I had to walk through. Since I walk, all this matters to me and I did not enjoy walking on all the loose debris and mud on my equipment. The greens were still recovering from being aerated which caused some bumpy putts that didn't allow balls to follow breaks. All in all, things could have been worse, but it's enough for me to put bad taste in my mouth based off my first experience.

This course never disappoints. Super fun and always in good condition. No narrow farways lined with houses. Pace is usually very good too! Keep up the good work Bear Creek!

This course is always fun to add into the mix. No waiting, play moves along nicely. Greens are always in good shape too!

There was no advisory that the greens were just airated and sanded. I showed up to pay and was told right before my tee time. The greens were aweful. They were giving out a free round with a $15 cart fee to come back by mid August. I was also told at the first tee that I was not allowed to walk and only members could??? They made an exception because I didn't know. That is ridiculous, because I only walk. Course layout was okay with some cool holes. I would have been much happier if I could have got my money back.
