Course is in great condition minus the sand bunkers. All lacking sand so hitting out of was almost impossible.
Hopefully that will change soon.

A bit over priced. It would be a good addition to the Troon card.

Downfalls of the Pines Course:
No sand in bunkers to get under ball.
The "roughs" were like hitting your ball of off cement. no decent grass....only dead turf.
Lots of water could mean a lot of lost balls.

Greens were challenging and interesting.

A course in beautiful condition. Lots of bunkers but that's ok.
It's worth a golfnow "hot deal" price: but not more than $90 a round.

We liked the course. Wasn't tremendously difficult but it is a friendly layout with some water challenges.
Got a great deal online.

Enjoy this course and it's beauty for a deal. I wouldn't spend more than we did $93/person.
One can score well if your putting and chipping are on. THe greens are very challenging.

I thought the location was nice and easy for Scottsdale residents to acquire.
and for the price I paid I was very happy with the course.

Played Spuire and Hawk. Squire's greens were in terrible shape. So many dead spots that your ball trickled offline no matter what. Hawk much better.

And then we rolled in at 5:15 for a happy hour that was 3-6pm. Well lo and behold last call was at 6pm. Not last call for Happy hour but for a SATURDAY night. the bar was closing as well as the kitchen!! that was not what we thought should happen, esp on a weekend.

My husband and I really enjoyed the layout of this course. He golfs more than I but I thought it was not set up to make me feel like a failure. The greens were a bit shaggy and bumpy but maybe that is common for July play in AZ.
Will go back to Silvrado GC this winter.

Great value for great golf. Staff made us feel welcome and so very helpful.

Nothing but a great experience. I thought it was a perfect start to my snowbird season.
